Postby Mephisto » Tue Feb 07, 2012 10:38 am

Hey my fellow warriors, I am curious, does anyone know the sewing pattern to craft a pair of these Image I have a friend who is kinda new to sewing, but knows a few tricks, and She's interested in sewing these. any help please?
EDIT: also may I have links to get the scales at a good price?

The pattern for the bit underneath would be any long glove pattern. Search for that online (I don't have direct access to any patterns, sorry) and you should get results. As far as the scales go, they're something that not a lot of armor checkers will let through, due to the points. If she's just planning on wearing it to look pretty, though, it's fine. No idea where to find 'em cheap apart from Ringlord.

There is a pattern for arm warmer/gloves available at Joann Fabrics. For off-the-field garb they would be legit, but they wouldn't likely get allowed on the field. viewtopic.php?f=107&t=39818

There are no staffs in Belegarth. Because of how they are constructed, they are really Pugil Sticks.

Looks like knitting or like it's tied together with yarn. Should break super quickly.

Not a pattern, but a way for you to make one.

Take some plastic bags and a roll of duct tape. Place the bags on your hands/forearms, have a friends duct tape around the bag covering the area you want to armor. cut the tape off with scissors along where the seams are.

You should be able use that as a pattern.

A pattern for a flapper dress should have the glove patterns.
