Art Competition with Prize

ART COMPETITION WITH PRIZE: The Empress of the Anduril Empire will offer the bounty of 4 NEW SWORDS for the winner of an ART COMPETITION for the design of 4 Circular Badges, each to commemorate proficiency (safety, checking, usage, training) in the following feats: Swords, Polearms, Archery, and Heralding. RULES: 1) Must be digital art, using 3 colors or less so it can be used for embroidery. 2) Must be high quality image so size can be changed as needed. 3) Each Patch must be different and should clearly identify the chosen proficiency. BONUSES: Using the language of the Empire, Futhark: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elder_Futhark or using alterations of the Emblem of the Empire (attached here) with the sword side ways or pointing UP (not down)!

Anyone may compete for the prize. If you are outside of California and win, we can ship the weapons or deliver them to you at the next event. Deadline Thursday APRIL 25th.

The deadline has been extended to May 1st. No submissions will be excepted after this date. Awards can be shipped to out-of-state winners if applicable, and a min red can be substituted as a prize instead of the 4 blues.

I can send a high res version? That sounds pretty good especially for putting together your first kit. If you're concerned that you're putting together a mishmash of elements from different periods, your list sounds like a good enough foundation for several different kits each with the themes you've mentioned, i.e., Viking, Celtic, and crusader-ish. If never hurts (well, except maybe from a time and financial standpoint) to have multiple kits, especially at multi-day events.
