The Reason For The Site Being Down

As you may have noticed, the Belegarth site has been down since last Tuesday because we where the unfortunate victims of a Denial of Service attack. Weather this was intentional or accidental, I can not say at the moment. I am working with the hosting company to figure out who was responsible for this attack.
I?ve taken measures to prevent this from happening again. I did block some IP subnets from our site from where the attack originated. If any webmasters of other Belegarth sites wish to know these, to prevent any attack against your sites, I will share them. Also, I will be creating a fallback site that will be exact mirror of this site.
I apologize for the inconveniences this might have cause and know that I?m working hard to prevent this from happening again.
