Whenever I log onto these boards, I always click the "remember me on this computer" box so that I don't have to log in every time I come here, but recently about every third or fourth time I come to the boards, I've been logged out by some mysterious force between visits and have to log back in. Any reason why this could be happening? (no, I've not been deleting my cookies; I only do that about once every month)

I blame room mates.

I updated the board twice in the past week. This probably had something to do with it.

Yeah, I live in my mom's house and have my own computer and I have the issue; and I'm the only one ever on my computer.

I've been continuing to get it for the last few days. It often makes me log in twice in a row for some reason - the first time it just bounces me right back to the main screen but not logged in, the second time it works fine.

Also, quite possibly unrelated, I've had sporadic problems with threads not being marked as read after I read them until I mark the whole forum read. It doesn't seem to matter how many times I open the thread or in what way or how I refresh the forum screen, it insists it's unread.

We did get some new anti-spyware software installed here at work recently, but I don't think it should be meddling in things. I've got IE (groan) set up to allow all cookies from www.belegarth.com, all the time.
