Today, the newest member signed up on the boards was
mortgage_loan_s123q1. The name has bot written all over it.
These are the other recent usernames that I suspect are bots. I swear that this board must be infested with them.

I don't know when the last time he/she updated his/her phpbb, but there should be that in the configuration panel.

I think it's so funny when people get bent out of shape over the bots.
oh my god, you had to read another post. Something HAS to be done about this. Winfang, I don't want to see you make ANY progress in your real life until this is taken care of. The amount of... seconds, being wasted by.... tens, of belegrim is staggering. It could amount to a whole 5 minutes. So you just call in sick every day till this is handled.
If it was REALLY that big a deal, don't you think that the "powers that be" would have implemented a fix? A post or so a day, maybe 5 on a bad day, and that one that did a post in every forum. That's it. They'll get to it. Till then, shhhhh, just let it happen.
Edit: And that doesn't even post on people who actually "get angry" over bots. Get a life, and some real concerns.

It's possible for "them" to farm E-mails here. People who write thier E-mails like
sluttygirl@whorehouse.gov will have them farmed then spammed. There is ways the mods could easily fix the problem, but like many have said it isn't a problem untill the majority feel like it is, so why take 5 minutes to fix things when you can ignore it and use those 5 minutes on something else.

Many porn bots on the boards (somewhere around 3 dozen of them now) share the same website.
