We've had the current theme for about half a year (since before Armageddon), it's called "Chronicles", it's the parchment and wood theme you're looking at right now. I like this theme and all, but I was thinking that it might be nice to switch it up a bit and do a different theme for a while (I'm getting a little bored of brown all the time). We can always switch back to Chronicles later... So what do you guys think, should we try something different? What sort of theme, style and colors would you like to see incorporated in the new look?

Go ahead and try a new look. As long as I can still read my posts, it's fine by me. I don't think anyone else really feels different, but I could be (and most probably am) wrong.

Isn't there a way to allow users to pick which of predefined themes to use?

I say go for a new theme. This one is nice, but change can be better...sometimes.

Make it blue. You can't go wrong with blue. That's what I learned from Longhorn screenshots.

hmmm.... ... i relly like this lay out... BUT if you're all totally into changing it... why not ty the blue that poeir suggested. you cannot go wrong with blue....

I'm waiting for the return of the snowman.

I did some searching and found a nice theme called "Athena". I did a quick test of it and here are some screen shots of what it would look like if I installed it... I like this theme because it looks crisp and fresh, and the lines in forums highlight white when you mouseover them (you can see this effect in the second screenshot). Remember I can always make a new logo, new icons, etc...

I say go with that...just need new graphics for it.

its kinda bland and boring to me...

One thing I seem to like more about these boards is they have a sence of olden times in them, which seems to fit this sport more than a more cutting edge blue type thing. Although either way as long as I can read and make posts I'll be happy.

Whatever you set up, can you leave Chronicles as an option (even if not the default) on the Profile page? I was kind of kidding about the blue, actually.

Yeah I can always save the Chronicles theme and switch back to it later.

How about:

Black and Yellow

Grey and Red

Black and Neon Green

Of course you could try changing up the colors to relate to the season we are in.

Blood and gore for halloween,

white for winter ect. ect...

I really don't care for the blue but since I have no idea's myself I guess I have no room to talk
