Automatic login function is not working and I have a Moderator Control Panel on the board index, but it doesn't show up on any of the subgroups. The latter is probably due to the fact that I moderate a group, though. I'll wait until I'm awake to better assess things.

Is it just me, or is ThorLarge clipping off the sides of overly large images?
I haven't checked with other styles yet.

A couple of things:

1) I have my screen resolution at 1600x1200. Is there a setting so that the board fills more of the screen? I noticed that it only applies to certain board styles. Others such as WoWGold automatically fill the screen.

2) Maybe I'm being overly anal about this, but I keep finding my eyes drawn to the "OFFLINE" status in people's posts instead of their names. From the looks of it, the font for the online status is bigger than font for the person's name. I guess it's just going to take a while to adjust but I'm used to seeing a person's name stand out instead of their online status. Perhaps, the font size for the name could be increased and the online status font reduced a little bit?

You are correct; it's because you're only a group moderator.

1. I'm not sure if that's a board problem or a DNS related problem. I'll look into it some more and let you know.

2. Indeed. I'll get that fixed.

Enoch wrote:Is it just me, or is ThorLarge clipping off the sides of overly large images?

Yes. It's a limitation of the style. The other styles simply expand to accommodate the image, but I'm not going to completely recode a style to have this behavior.

1) No, unfortunately. Like above, it's part of the style.

2) I agree. I'll look into changing it.

Not being able to add moderators to my "foe" list is disappointing. Is there a fix for this? I understand it being necessary for admins and the major board moderators, but there are so many moderators of small usergroups that hardly get any action.

How about joining new usergroups or forums

Something that I really didn't like about the switch to the web 2.0 (or whatever it was) board and this change is the lack of "View Posts Since Last Visit." It was my favorite feature on the old board. This one has a "read new posts" or something like that, but as far as I can tell, it works on a daily basis and doesn't take my last visit to the site into account.
Is there anything equivalent that can be added to this board?

It may be doable. It's not with the default installation, but I'll see what I can do.

You can do it through the user control panel.

It doesn't exist on phpBB3. I believe the developers intentionally took it out, but I'll see about getting a replacement, but it doesn't look good.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. You have to select a day in the future for some reason.

I'll look into that as well.

I just received a PM from Angmarth, according to the E-mail I was just sent. I logged in and it wasn't there. Then I deleted a few PM's that were a couple of months old. And now my newest PM that I got from you, Derian, if I try to read it it says that it has been deleted... but it is listed in my PM's.

Odd.

I'll take a look.

Also, I should make it known that I might not be able to respond for a while; there's record flooding in my town right now, and I will very possibly be evacuated, and if not, I think our power is getting shut off soon.

I am ok with it... I am betting 10:1 that their is an index issue, probably a repair on a few or all the tables will solve it.

Left clicking a link no longer opens it in a new tab/window. Not that it matters really, as 99% of the time I use the middle button.

Try changing themes until you find one you can easily decipher. Subsilver2 is good for that.

'User Control Panel' -> 'Usergroups' -> 'Manage Groups' -> Click the group in question. Pending members are at the bottom.

More annoying than anything else, but the large embedded images are getting half cut off by the edge of the window. Is there any way we could implement a mod like this to automatically resize them?

Derian, have you had an editor look over the website lately? I was just noticing a few minor typographical and contextual problems here and there. You might want to proof-read it somewhere down the line.

Yes, actually.

The site that's up now was sort of a rush job. The next revision (coming out real soon) has been edited and rewritten to exclude grammatical and contextual errors as well as include major code improvements.

It should be hawt.

This has been a problem for awhile, I have been too lazy to post about it:

The unit sub-forum doesn't appear on my main list (it used to before the switch, after realms sub-forums), even though I am enrolled in a Unit sub-group.

I have to use a direct URL to get in, which is **** annoying.

Any fix for this?

Bishop,
I'm assuming you are talking about the God Squad forum? I've been chasing this in circles and not getting anywhere. I'll keep looking.

And btw, I really hate how phpbb3 deals with permissions, it's far more complex than it needs to be! >:(

There are a few typos in the "Rules" on the main webpage. Didn't proof read it all, but it seems to involve apostrophes being replaced by periods in at least some possessive words.

1.4.8.5. No part of the arrow.s striking surface may be less than 2.5 inches in any direction.

1.4.8.7. The arrow.s striking surface must be constructed of open-cell foam.

... also apparently some quotation marks.

3.7.2. Combatants attacking an opponent from behind with a two-handed strike from a Class 2 or 3 Weapon MUST shout .TWO..

If .TWO. is not called, the opponent should consider a successful strike to cause a single hit of Injury.

3.7.1. If during a battle an unsafe situation occurs, it is the responsibility of all Combatants (and Marshals) who see the situation to call .HOLD. and stop the battle.

*ack* it's too crowded! need to re-format, perhaps something divided by state, then by realm? while still allowing for foamsmithing, in character and ect. the midwest dag boards aren't bad.

Slow down there, hoss. The Belegarth boards aren't designed for giving each group a separate area. There are private forums that you can subscribe to. Many realms and units have one.

Not a major issue, but when logging in I'm finding that I am no longer be taken back to the page I was on or, in the case of hitting the "view now" in a topic reply notification e-mail, the topic that I had posted in. Instead, after log-in, it is only re-directing to the index page. Don't know if this is intentional or not, but, again, not a big deal.

Using the Epoch board style the Belegarth banner is blank but the words are in small print beneath it.
