Anyone else having trouble getting at the wiki? I know now that at least three people have had trouble with the page popping up load errors.

I am. Firefox gives me a "server not found" message.

Had the same issue with IE, Chrome, and Opera.

Looks like it's totally down. Can't ping it and there are no routes to it.

Checking on it now.

This was a result of a DNS oversight on my part during the migration. It's been corrected, though it likely will take some time for the issue to be resolved due to the nature of DNS propagation.

It's always a DNS issue.

Edit:
Forgot to say thank you Derian for your work on this.

It is temporary in effect, but highly persistent.

Search has been randomly broken off-and-on (at least for me) since last fall at least.

Yeah, search is very, very intensive processor wise, so the board has a function to temporarily disable it if the load is too high on the server.

I'm aware of it, but I don't have an easy fix right now short of throwing more hardware at it, which is pretty much never a good solution.

I'll try to take another look at it some time in the near future.

I'm never getting notifications when people reply to my posts, even though I religiously mark "Notify me when a reply is posted". My email works, since I get private messages just fine, and I have checked my spam folder, nothing there.

Anything weird with the notifier?

Thanks,

Hmm. Should be fine. Let me see if I can dig anything up in the logs.

Just shot you a PM with some details. We should be all good to go here, but let me know if you see any more weirdness.

Are the spam issues not solve able with a captcha?

Are we facing software retirement or what? I thought we were on phpbb3 and I don’t want to retread work already done, but a quick google search brings up enough results to make me wonder why.
