You all may have noticed the boards/wiki/whatever has been down intermittently for the past 2 hours or so. The boards were getting hammered by a single IP address and brought down.

All traffic from the IP in question is being dropped, so everything should be good now.

On a ... totally unrelated note, if anyone knows how to get in contact with Bear, tell him the machine he posted from today at 1:53 PM CST probably has a whole host of viruses.

so umm yeah... time i used to clean the kitchen.

so what caused one IP to have so many connections.

I can get a hold of bear, what do you want me to tell him though, "hey you crashed the boards" lol

It's very likely it wasn't intentional, but rather that the computer he was connected from had some kind of virus or malware.

yeah, I shall let him know the next time I see him.
