I just made a side arm for myself.
It's a blue, 17" long. The striking surface (edhellen reblade kit left-overs) is 12", the handle 2.5" and the pommel 2.5".
It's green. I'm intending to make a set of these knives as a side-arm for when I'm working my pole-(HURR)arms, arching and even S&B. I'm just wanting to double check that they are legal. I realize the reason for the BoW's brevity but it sometime's has the opposite effect of it's intention.
At least if you're stoopy like me.
Anywho, you have the dimensions, here's the rules in question;
1.4.1.1. A Class 1 Weapon under twenty-four (24) inches in length has no weight minimum.
-I figure I'm going to have to weight it anyway, otherwise it won't have enough bamf to the strikes.
1.4.1.5. The minimum overall length of a Class 1 is 12 inches plus the length of the handle and pommel.
-As stated, Striking surface is at 12", total length is 17".
So, anything I'm missing?
