Im 11 and i havent played belegarth boffer but i do play boffer and i was wandering if u guys could help me with a battle name????......about me, im proud to be related to the vikings, also on my free time i look up futhark(viking stone writting) and also the viking gods.....

Welcome to these boards. Both good suggestions. I would suggest you find a hobby, or favorite fighting style. Translate it to old norse and go with it.

I asked this question as well, and was told that it didn't matter what i chose that a field name would be given to me. This would depend on my attitude and fighting style on the field.

Sometimes that can be the case or it can be at your realm as well. Most people come up with there name on their own. Me, I got my name from work. Think about your personality, like, there are some people I know that should be named Clueless.

Take Barbie, the name he chose was Sivesh, though everyone called him Barbie cause he wouldn't choose one. So when he comes out most call him Barbie (due to his barbaric style I believe) though I try to refrain and call him Squire Sivesh.

Send a pick of you fighting style and garb. Many locally still call me pig-farmer due to early RP on these boards.

What ever you choose try to keep it short and easy to reckagnize in a heavy combat situation, in my realm we runs names thru the group and we all agree on one for an individual, I think I had 3 names before vek. short, sweet and easy to call in battle to get attention, also sounds viking too.

Rabbit: Orc names aren't too tough. Just think of a word that sounds like you're trying to pick up something really heavy. Try to settle with a memorable one, too.

On a completely different note, I am now changing my name to Esalvapar (a character who I created about 3 years ago in D&D). I actually had no fighting name, and was simply Jikogu on the boards, but this will be my board and fighting name.

The purpose of choosing a sparring name is to avoid confusion on the field when people share the same name. I went with Lars because it is easy to remember. At the same time it is exotic enough that it is unique, but not so exotic like "I am Rrafmaktiki the Slayer!"
