I would like to see an undead elf with emo hair... the existence of such a thing would make elven ninja werecats who carry 32 weapons the coolest thing on the field.

Now instead of poking harmless fun, I will provide some constructive input... all of which is IMHO

Ninja = cool if done right, but if it's done right... only the ninja him or herself will truly be able to appreciate their persona.

Undead = Kinda lame, unless you got a good zombie horde and have specific rules for them which would essentially turn Belegarth into a LARP; hence many people not caring for undead in Belegarth... Undead is best kept to side games (the zombie game is pretty fun).

Elves = Good on rye bread with some mayonnaise

Vamps/Were"x"s = cool if done right, but vamps are going to have boring days at events... Daywalking = lame. I do think were"x"s would actually be cool if properly executed. The problem does lie in the execution.

IE: Walmart latex masks bought on clearance, paired with cut up cargo shorts, and howling like a retard ≠ proper execution. Execution would be in garb which appears torn from growth, makeup instead of a emotionless floppy mask, and mostly persona; even with good persona... what would really be the point? You're not gonna kill anything running around on all fours on the field during the day; at night, most people are worried about drinking, keeping warm by a bonfire, and night entertainment... they are not going to care about some jackass running around on all fours and/or prowling in the bushes.

However, two golden rules in belegarth characterization:

1. If you don't want to be made fun of... be what you want as long as you can back it up. Vokor could dawn a tinkerbell costume from the disney store and call himself a fairy and I can think of few who would have problems with it. I'd still run from a charging Vokor, cloth wings or not.

2. If you have thick skin and don't care... be what you want as long as it makes you happy. Notice Black Cat has not changed his persona much since he came into the picture. It's a bit over the top IMO but he enjoys it, who cares?

now don't get me wrong, if you can correctly role play that, that's one thing, and when I say that I don't mean have a super cool back story. I mean actually have your garb reflect what you are.

For example I cover my dominant arm, people recognize that, and if they are familiar with the race they associate bugbear.
