What do you theme yourself?

Postby Outhro Youkker » Wed Feb 13, 2008 10:20 pm

What do you do to make yourself into your character?
What makes you you stand out?

I am a goblin, and I say I am at some height under 3ft tall. That is why the Normal Human Hammer is in its regular size.
Image
I can have the free will to make any small object into a oversized form of the original.
Plus being a scavenger, my garb and armor are bits and pieces of different things put together. That is why I have one long sleeve on my tunic and a bracer on one arm, as the other is completely exposed for now. When I find something to put there, I will add it in without the care of matching. I require pictures to show the evolution of my garb as a new piece is found to add on.

So, what about you?

I didnt expect it to be long.

I was just asking what do others do to set themselves from the rest.

And to keep into the theme of being hijacked.

No really, Bodmin fights crime. I've seen him do it. He once took a bottle of Jack from an underage drinker and drank it himself to keep the kid away from sin.

It was a very noble gesture, not to be confused with the many not-so-noble gestures that followed later on that night as he began to do things like fall down.

He's also a werewolf, you just can't tell when he transforms because he doesn't have far to go to reach that half-dog status.

If people could explain what type/style/coloring or garb and armor they wear for what race, it would be most helpful.

Redshirt from Star Trek?

The only reason I havent posted a picture yet, is because my face and head gear is not done, and I cant say I am a goblin if I still have the melon of a Human.
My garb looks awsome, but I still require the face to match the Goblin.

Not inventor goblin, ultra scavanger.
My main weapons are a pair of cleavers, I use the Ogre's Butterknife(4.5ft long sword), my Normal Human Hammer is the only tool I have for now, and I even have my Pointy Stick(Small Club with piercing tip) that has killed many.
I have plans of looking for a Spoon(Ax), a Nail(Dagger), a very dismembered arm(Flail), and the possibility of a toilet lid(Shield)

That's the best theme I've ever heard. And like Spike said, very original. Nice

Sorry; no sarcasm at all. I can see the misinterpretation,
But in general, including myself, it's make a typical sword and fight with it no matter your persona. This is extreme, but awesome

I go into the ideas of making something completely ouy of place...
and then killing with such item.

I have a cleaver that is half the size of a regular short sword. People think that it is safer to use the sword. I dont critisize their judgement, I just prove that they underestimate small weapons.
I loaned my Ogre's Butterknife to a guy and durring a gauntlet game, as he was immortal, I grappled and pummeled him on the ground for over 2 minutes.

I dont like being typical. I am the usual unusual and want to fight agaisnt more veteran fighters. I want to go to an event to fight, get my butt woopped by veterans, to learn from them, gain an idea of what resemble a top rank fighter, and have a set goal to improve.
So when I come back, I try my revenge of slaying all with the combination of Normal Human Hammer and Toilet Seat shield.

I love those ideas. I tend to fight with single sided swords and when I had them, used short points on my ears for a half elf idea. I as well had put a blue mark on my arm to signify the inheritance that my character has to the throne of Oasis.

It is a long story thing. The key to being accepted as a non human (in my experience) is go all the way with your costume. The fighters as a general rule will respect anyone who will get up early to get their face and body put together. As well be sure your weapons and armor fit the bill :D
