What is it? A chance for you to share your lore in a friendly environment, be you human, monster or whatever.

When is it? Saturday night of Oktoberfest after other activities die down. The time is obviously flexible, given how far out the event is at this point.

Why should you do it? Well, for one, there will be a group of people there who will be willing to listen to your lore, no matter how awful it is. There will also be food, booze and prizes, contributed by Ty and myself. Also, it'll flat out be a hell of a lot of fun.

The only request I have is that you not ramble on forever with your lore, especially if a lot of people want to share stories. Keep it under ten minutes to start until we see how many want to participate.

It's a website for all of Tolkien's created languages, compiled by a linguist with apparently a lot of time on his hands, or a healthy obsession.

Huge thanks to everyone that put in the time to come to this, both the storytellers and the people listening. It went better than we had imagined it would and we're hoping to make next year even better.

It was **** awesome. I was really impressed. I told my Amtgard regent about how great it was, and what all was done, and she said she was going to hold a Lore competition for our park, and then speak to the Kingdom regent about possibly doing something of this nature at Mid-reign next month.

Congrats, we just out flurbed Amtgard.

You almost out flurbed Dag though. Our slave auctions and AoM's baby burning gotcha beat though, sorry.

It was pretty awesome though as much as I saw of it. Okfest Saturday night as a whole was GREAT SUCCESS!
