How about revolving an event around the RP section of this board.

Kinda like Demon Wars, but create a new one that will be a multi- day/realm event. We can get everything set in the RP section and through the RP on the boards members can gain knowledge and items for the Event (prior to the Event). Then we can incorporate special abilities/powers/items into the RP board and game when the Event happens... ie all the DM Mods will participate in running the Event!

Would you do it.. do you like it?

Sorry. *i can't*.....*thinks* I may be able to sneak around and do some I guess.....One question though, Would it be too much like that one group.....the one they always make fun of...*lightning bolt*...i don't remember what they are called.

If i can in anyway help though I will, at the moment I cannot.

Is LARP what your thinking of? That's what I'd worry about as well. We already get enough crap from the regular fighters we don't need to give them an excuse to antagonize us.

Nah, Quest Event. Sir Thane put them up for the first few CW's. They are fun and you don't get special abilities, only monsters.

Though you can obtain amulets and and weapons to boost your ego... if you have a really kick * backstory then you could use some of that too.

Demon Wars... Andrek can only be killed one way

AAndrek can only be killed in another (both reasonable, but tough none the less)

Infact you can kill both of them in one shot if you do it right!

Now you would have to have a written set of rules (as to not be disputed) and even hidden written rules that can be unlocked by a wise sage.

They are fun and most people like them.

Amtgard or LARPS are not where this will go... you will only be given power by the DM group (ie us).

We also must keep ourselves in check. (ie no flying... or random virgin attacks!)

sorry ive been absent, busy work sechudule. I have no problems in this, i would love to help, but i do have a concern.

I mean no offense or disrespect to you Andrek, but as far as i know you would be the one running this, and what not. My only concern is that you tend to diappear for days on end, im not entirely sure if you are active in another board, but i know within the RP section it can sometimes take days for you to get back to a post. And i know im guilty of this sometimes as well, but im usually only gone for a day or so, and if im gonna be gone longer, i try and post it. If something like this got going, would you be able to check on it at least once a day to make sure everything is running smoothly. In order for this to work, those involved must be active in it, or the "players" involved, will simply loose interest. If we got this going, i would be active all the time.

Please dont take any offense to that Andrek, i didnt mean any.

1. I do not want to run it... it would be a complete group effort.
2. I have in the past checked every day for past events, I do check almost every day. I just do not post unless I feel that it is needed.

Marcadus... as to the virgins. I was very distraught at one point when the girls in my home region thought of me as a Deitious being. They would offer up Virgins to keep my temper under control. It worked until the virgins realized that it simply did not make them happy to be 'selected' one at a time... hence a random virgin attack... 83 women at one time is even to much for this quazi-god to handle.

It's still a good thread the idea is still there for a role-play battle or quest, but as of now how many people are actually active in the role-play forum? I know others would join in with us if we did a battle more or less just to fight some more but honestly how much participation do you see this getting?

This is why I think that we need to cut and paste the entire damned thing to one * large quote, or delete it.

ie Take a topic that is no longer in use and cut it to a word processor. Then cut it into one huge * post for all to reminice over, DM commentary would be used to discuss good and bad points of the topics... and most can just be deleted.

pm the guys that started them and ask if it is okay if they are deleted

just ideas from an upset diabetic with a high BS level. (no that is not bull ****).

Getting back to ideas...

What should we center this thing around?

I vote another War of Aquilonia and The Watch. I would love to be a NPCesk char in it. I no longer have strong tie to the watch, nor do I care for FB's leadership. I would love to try and help both sides settle, when they don't and **** hits the fan (ie demons, giants, pretty naked peeps come out and kick * with cool powers) I want to take an official no side stand, seeing if the two armies ever lay their swords aside for their own survival.

Now for some usefull info:
I would lover to help and all, but my job is very strict about...well...everything. I have called in a tottal of 8 times in 4 months b/c I was sick(stupid wisdom teeth screwing me over). Well they got * and chewed me out. So there is one example of how strict they are. Also I have lots of things coming up and well I hardly have time for small things like DnD, or my weekly drawing schedual. So there you have it, I will contribute ideas when I can though.
