So I had this idea of a theoretical tournament for determining the best all-around fighter with "all-around" being defined as someone who could pick up almost any weapon style and be deadly (but not unsafe) with it.
These were the styles I came up with:
1) Sword and board
2) Flail and board
3) Two weapon
4) Javelin
5) Archery
6) Two-handed sword
7) Single sword
8 ) Spear
9) Glaive
10) 2-on-1
11) 3-on-1
12) 4-on-1
13) Tank (fully armored)
14) Random weapons
15) Dagger [added based on your suggestions]
16) Mongolian wrestling [added based on your suggestions]
17) Sword & dagger
Also, can anyone think of any ways to quantify and measure battlefield presence and leadership? The weapon styles skills are fairly easy to measure in a tournament but battlefield leadership and presence are also important aspects of a fighter's skill.
Your thoughts?
