HEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!

Postby YAS » Sat Jun 25, 2005 1:46 am

For those of you who don't recognize the name, I am the elf formally known as Kaiilynn the Red. (No, not THAT Caelin)
"Hey, I thought she was dead!"
No.............I'm still here, and I want to FIGHT!!!!!
Here's my problema.
I want to go to Summer War. I have no way to get there, because I want my car to last for another few months (weeks?). I need a ride. I would prefer an offer from someone who ACTUALLY KNOWS ME. Yes, this will be difficult. I haven't been around, and now, here I am, throwing myself at the mercy of the court. But I must have my escape from reality!!!!
Here's what I can offer:
gas money
driving skills (I can't do stick)
endless hours of entertainment (ask Ralimar)
I have: one small tent, an airbed, a plastic storage bin of my clothing (I can measure it), a sleeping bag, and a large cooler (24 or 48 gallon).
If you are leaving on thursday, yay!!!, but I don't have a prob with friday, I have the whole weekend. Any takers, please email me at ltlpinkkitty@yahoo.com or ask Siryn for my home #, but don't call past 10 (and don't ask).
PLease help!!!!
Thank you
Yasreana

Hi Kaiilynn, uh, I mean Yasreana,

I'd offer you a ride, but I'm not sure that I'm going to the event, driving from California is a long way, and aren't you in northwestern Ohio? Or did I miss a move?

*bonk*
Stupid redhead!!!
I'm in Indiana!!!! Near Indianapolis, accessible from I465, I70, I65 (though not as easily), and I69. So, yes to your question, Kyrax, you missed a move. Hail, long time no see.
So, if this new (and forgotten) information will help anyone with a reply, I will be most grateful.
Thanks
Yasreana

Entirely possible that some of us Kentucky or Tennessee folks can manage that fairly easily, as we're all likely heading up I-65 through southern Indiana. Now, as to choosing someone you know... I'll have to let some of the others chime in. I will offer a fall back, if there are no other options.

To quote Blanche from "A Streetcar Named Desire"
"I have always depended on the kindness of strangers"

Thanks for the offer Cailte. If I don't get an answer from anyone else, when would you want to know that you'd be taking the three hour tour through Nowheresville, IN? :D

*grumbles* Someone step up and save this lass? C'mon folks!

'cause as much as I'd love to fuel the white knighy syndrome, Summer War all of a sudden looks like a dim possibility for me. That big far summer paycheck that's been there for, oh, the past 11 years all of a sudden seems to be the victim of my state's budget ineptitude. In short, the extra $400-500 that has always come my way about now seems that it won't be. So much for summer plans. I'm entirely too short on cash to afford a trip now.
