Will there be waivers to sign at Oktoberfest, or will we have to print them and sign them ourselves?

If you are under 18, you need to have them signed by both you and your parents and notarized PRIOR to the event.

If you are over 18, we should have a stack, though bringing your own pre-signed always makes the process faster.

Does it need to be notarized if my parents decide to come along to watch the fighting? :)

No, they can sign it up at troll with you, I'm pretty sure, but if you plan to stay over night and they don't, you still need a chaperone with a signed waiver.

(Somebody double check this please)

So what exactly does the belegarth olympics entail? I apologize if this was discussed prior to gencon.

Also, what time will troll close on thursday night?

Rowan,

Here's the thread where Angmarth talks about it:

fest was great; thanks for the good time; and to the couple vets that were giving me tips, thank you; and a big thanks to obryn, and the other guy that was talking to me at the same time, for giving tips about fighting against spears.

Okfest was awesome, especially the bridge battles and good versus evil. Although it seemed that some archer seemed to have their eye on me. ;)
Thank you Satanaka for your aid in our little problem and I wish you the best.

all the battles were excellent, though I do have a suggestion: a few battles without projectiles, and perhaps a few battles Greek style. No, Not men getting sexed freom behind but, with spears and shields and swords only ( no maces nor flails)...just thoughts, this could be somnething for Spring War.

I realize that there's still like 6 months or so until 'Fest '06; but I was wondering if you guys have any idea as to what dates it might be being held on this year. I may be going out of town on the weekend of the 6-9 of october, so just tryin' to get some dates figured out so I know whether or not I'm going to 'fest or on a trip.

Thanks
