Illinois Renascences Faire 2006

How dee folks!

I?m really excited to say I was asked to be in the planning committee for the Illinois Renascences Faire. The fair is September 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 2006. I would like to get as many Belegarth fighters there as possible?
If everything stays the course as years past, there will be little to no charge for those wanting to come to show their stuff (no more than $5 a head +$7 if you want to go to the follow up banquet).

Could we get a few more details? Ex: what types of things we would be doing (I assume fighting demos predominantly); where the Faire takes place, and other things of that sort.

What: The 4th Annual Illinois Renaissance Faire
When: September 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 2006 (Labor Day Weekend)

As for what to do?
If all hold the same the Field time will be broken down into blocks for each game system that attends. During that time the field is yours to put your best foot forward in the name of Belegarth (in Garb, fighting and characterization). I have batted around the idea in a 3 day tournament. Kind of best of the best fighters in Bel. There are also specific times when there will be no weapons raised. (I.E. the joust).

What I need is a Warlord (contact) to be in charge of the Belagarth participants. So any volunteers for Warlord?
