no word on cost yet; Wolfpack is having a meeting about Spring War in a week or something like that about Spring War and we will be determining everything, or at least, most of everything at that point.

Canis was the Wolfpack Web Guru and was in charge of getting a website up.

If you haven't seen, Canis died on Wednesday.

We will get a site up as soon as we can but right now we are in huge shock and need some time.

Basic SW 2006 info:
March 30- April 2
Hidden Springs Campsite near Shelbyville, IL
Cost: $15 pre-reg $20 at the door

There is still plenty of time so give us space.

Thank you.

Feast is included in the price.

The big feast is going to be on Saturday night.

There will not be a discount for arriving on friday night. There will probably some sort of discount for people who arrive on Saturday, but I'm not sure how much that would be.

DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 2:00 PM ON THURSDAY.

sad... so showing up around 9 or 10 friday night still costs 20 dollars? even after missing thursday, friday, a first feast, and vegetarianly likely not eating the second feast?

silly college classes.... ... silly vegetarianism....

..awesome springwar though. i'd show up for that last day of fighting even if it were 30 dollars. maybe.

Well...

If you pre-reg it will only cost you $15.00.

The prices are set this way for a reason. The cost for camp sights in Illinois has gone up a bit over the last couple of years. Forcing us to charge more for the events.

The main feast is set for Saturday night this year. There will be a LOT of selections for vegitarians provided.

Hey... I noticed something.

So... Um... X-men III comes out the Friday of Springwar right....

Does anyone know if there is a local theatre? I've turned it around and around in my head... I really just don't think I can wait till after the event to see this movie. Also don't know how big the local town is, but if there is a midnight showing on Thursday, that would be something to do Thursday night.

I'm sure I'm not the only one whose put this together, I hope I'm just the first one to ask.

Plus, the idea of the event overrunning the local theatre just sounds so awesome to me.

I am not 100% sure on this, so take my answer with a grain of salt. From what I recall, the gates will be locked around 11 PM (it's usually a bit later, but best to play it safe), and there won't be any way to get them open.

UPDATE
As head weapons checker i have been asked by many people if we will be enforcing the weight rules, that will be going into effect 4/6/2006

the answer is YES.... Wolfpack will be enforcing this rule so please pre weigh stuff so its not a surprise if it fails on weight
basic idea -
whole weapon under 24" - No weight requirement
24"-47.99" - 12oz or more
48"+ - 24oz or more
any questions?

this has been a pulic announcement
