Battle Week is on!!!

Open season Biotches!
All this week on and off our campus (CMSU) we are having an open season. We call it Battle Week.

Here is how it works:
1. You can only be killed once every clock hour. Everyone resurrects at the beginning of each new hour.
2. The person that dies keeps track of who killed them and when, then the one with the most kills at the end of the week is the winner.
Rules:
3. You are only safe at work and at our regular battles/meetings.
4. More than one complaint about cheating to the officers of our group and your permanently dead for the remainder of the week.

This is one of our favorite events of the year. Some of you other college based groups may want to try it out sometime.

It's over, kill counts went into the multiple hundreds, and many new people were recruited (then killed).

Everyone here is sad that it's over. They want to do it all semester long.

I'm confused, did you all carry your equipment with you all week?

That sounds similar to our Highlander Tournament. Except, the Highlander tournament lasts two weeks; week 1 is round 1, week 2 is round 2. You are only alive once per round, and whoever has to wins, has to fight last years champion for the Highlander sword; Morpheus has been holding it for 5 years(?).

If you didn't carry a weapon you were still a target, so yeah, we carried at least one weapon around at all times. (Then people stare and some ask about it, next thing you know you've got 5 new members from here and 2 from there...)
Hunting parties were everywhere, we even had one guy drive out from another group to hunt people here. He stayed 2 days and got at least 9 kills.

Looks like the demand is so high that we are going to do it again in late April. This might be a twice a semester event.

How many dragged around a shield?

Very few, which is why I killed a lot, because I did.
Everything counts during the event, so if you walk around every day in armor with a sword and board and a bunch of rocks, it all counts and you'll stomp a lot of people.

All I know is if I'm gonna fight, I will have my shield. But my boss/teachers/whatever would hate me. My shield is * huge.

And I would hate everyone else, because even turtling that thing around would make me so soar.
