You?ve had time to rest over the winter; hopefully you took the time to get those new weapons ready some new garb put together. Because winter is almost over, and it is almost that time of the year again? Rausumea Spring Opener Time! On Saturday April 22nd Rausumea will be back at it and with your help stronger than ever, hosting its 4th Official Spring Opener. We had record attendance last year in the fall, and this spring it is time to blow those numbers away. That means bigger battles, longer fighting, and some new games to try out on the battlefield.

Why should you come? Well on April 2nd we will be officially releasing the official Lords of Rausumea Game guide to the public on our website www.Rausumea.com. And at the opener on the 22nd the official distribution of Rausumean coins will take place! Between now and then preview draft copies of the Lords Guide and coins will be purposely leaked out to the public and so some coinage will be able to make it out into the open market.

Some things that you are going to see as of the opener! Belegarth requires all weapons over 24? to meet a weight specification, so weapons at check will be weighed. Rausumea currently has some fiscal goals for this year and we will be collecting a two-dollar fee for attending the spring opener and subsequently every Saturday battle after that. Something that isn?t too new is sign in at practices and battles. Rausumea will require everyone to sign a 2006-2007 waiver to have on file with the Household and at every battle you will be required to sign the event waiver with the event coordinators before you may participate. We hope to see you at the Spring Opener this April!

With everyone moving their stuff home for college, we couldn't must Northern Eryndor to make the drive... bummer. How did it work out?

I'm fascinated by your efforts to institute some non-fighting RP into your events... seems like great stuff.
