The hero Belegarth deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A Viking *.

Uh let?s see?
I have directed the post about waivers to the attention of the person who handles such issues in our realm. A chaperone is not necessary if you are over 16 as it is just a day event.
Wisp ? we always have a few loaner weapons but not knowing the numbers I cannot promise that there will be enough. Personally I have about 3.

I will have additional copies of our waivers on hand. Yeah, it would be best if we could get people to sign in on those, or bring a copy of whatever their own home realm has (oh, sure, like everyone has that lying around...). Since a minor waiver does require a notary signature, it's a bit more of a sticky wicket. Here's a possible idea... I might get yelled at by Ora, or Vokor, or Izzy... but here's the waiver that the fine folks down in D-D used for their most recent and most excellent Beltain event (http://www.durdemarion.com/events/Registration/BeltaineMinorWaiver.pdf) Yes, I know that it is Beltaine specific, but since we really don't have a webmaster as of yet, I don't have a nice pdf version online.

No yellin', just glad our legal documents can be helpful. It looks like I have to stay with my son while my wife does some home-work related stuff. Sundays are my only day off as of yet, so it's hard for me to promise them.

I'm going to call around for Horde who might want to go, however.

DIRECTIONS:

Take I-64 to the Grinsted Drive exit 8 east of Downtown Louisville. I-65 and I-71 both link with I-64 downtown.
If you are exiting off 64E take a right and if you are exiting off 64W take a left at the bottom of the exit ramp.
At the first intersection (less than 1 mile) you will take a left onto Lexington Road.
Go up Lexington Rd, pass under the highway and climb a small hill, about a 1/2 mile overall and on your right will be Cochran Hill Rd. It is easy to miss so keep an eye out. If you reach a stoplight you have gone too far.
Turn right onto Cochran Hill Rd. and enter Cherokee Park.
Follow Cochran Hill up and over till it dead-ends into the Scenic Loop.
Turn right on the Scenic Loop.
On your right will be the hill you just came down and on your left will be Frisbee Field, that?s the spot. About 100 yards up on the right is a gravel lot, park there. We congregate across the street; hopefully we will be easy to spot.
Should you get lost please do not hesitate to call.

WEATHER:

As of now the forecast for Sunday is 68 with a 30% chance of a few showers.
Of course we know how inaccurate the forecast can be.
