Come one come all, to Aquilonia's fabulas Sam Hain Celebration. We'll drink and fight and tell dumb stories and maybe burn some folks in wicker cages.
Weapon check starts at 9-10am. Fighting starts at noon. We will be camping Friday and Saturday night to hang out with anyone who need to travel very far, but as it will be a little chilly, we understand if some of you old folks don't want to sleep outside.
There will be a feast Saturday night. The event will cost $10 to cover camping and the feast.
Come help us close down the season with a bang.
And hopefully some screams of terror.

Boy, Mapquest is a piece of **** anymore.
Anyway, Take I-15 to ogden. Get off at the 21st exit. Go East to the light with the Chevron gas staion on N/W corner. Turn Right. Turn left at stop sign. Follow this road. It's a little 2 lane road that goes past some junk yards and ****. If your lost at this point go back to the Chevron and ask for directions. Turn Right onto B ave. Go up the little hill to 24th Street. Turn Left on to 24th and go 1 block to A ave and turn right. Go south on A to the first place you can turn on your right. It looks like a drive way at first, but it's the road down into the park, we'll put a sign here. Follow it down the hill and over the bridge.
The park is the big green section on the map with the river going through it. Once you get there, you'll see us.

V and have talk to the guy and nothing is going on that weekend and they know that we are going to come and camp and fight. Tell all the guy to come and have a good time with everyone one last time before the end of the year.

If all goes good I will be doing the same thing I did last year and if you showed up last year you know what I'm talking about. If you do remeber and some one asks just tell them to show up and find out. If you do know SHUT UP about it. that is all.

Pre-reg is a no. $10 is as cheap as we can go.

Fort Buenaventura in Ogden, Ut. Its a loveley historical site with lots of woodland terrain, a pond/river, and fighting feilds. Toilets and running water are a Check. Showers are a No; however if you don't feel like jumping into the river; I live about 5min away and any who need it are welcome to use my home's facilities. Dress warm. Camp warm. I wanna see Lots of Fur. I will pet you all. If you have a camper and wish to bring it, Ft. B has hookups and whatnot for you. Any other details you are yearning to hear about?

Fighting on Fri? I think pick up battles.... but Griff's in charge of that.

On a Side Note:

I would like to invite everyone to the Grand Opening of my ArtShow. Which ever so conveiniantly falls on that Friday Oct 20th. 6-9 pm. It's gonna be a Masquerade, so bring some cool * garb to wear to my Show! I know for sure there will be Wine... if we have wine I'm sure there's gonna be some snackage. My Show will take place in SLC. The after party location hasn't been decided upon just yet. But you are all more than welcome to come check out what I do, see some really cool art work and have a good time while you're at it!

Offically it's $15 a night for campers. Hopefully we can talk them into giving us a break. If so, I might be bringing mine as well.

Thanks to everyone who ran and/or helped with the event. I had a good time ganking people with arrows and getting chased around the field. I also got a good idea of what equipment I need to get for next season.

I also liked the campfire conversations. Well, except for the whole subject about beating up "emo kids". I thought it was mean and pointless. Really, what is the point of harming sad, helpless emo kids? And "National punch an emo kid in the face day"? Some people have too much free time on their hands.

Oh My GOD!

This was one of the best events I have attended. Even though it was small the fighting was INCREDIBLY CLEAN and everyone was super laid back and it was just awesome. All my guys came home asking when the next one was. If you weren't there, then you missed perhaps the most epic rock kill of all time. Astrix nailed Black Cat from about 40 feet. It was ROCKIN. Thanks to Forkbeard and Griff for throwing down a sweet event, and the rest of the Uruk-Hai who did their thing to make this event rule. And I have to say congrats to Pey Ell and Hish, who are the first Highlands of Chaos Uruk-Hai!

It was awesome and I loved fighting with everyone. And it was not Falling! It was......fighting with..um...style? I enjoyed hanging with everyone and I hope to see you guys at the next event whenever it is. Thanks for hosting Samhain! Will any of you post pictures of the event?
