Yeah, Oz, we got signage up pretty quick, and added more when Loptr still got lost. Of course, I think it made it better for him when he found out now we were just off the 'dam road.'

Thanks to everyone who came! I know my guys and I had a great time in spite of the weird weather. Rain, in Southern Utah? Seriously?

Also, Leaf, Mulligan, Kage and other Idaho peeps, please tell me you guys decided not to come, because if you came down here and we missed you with the site relocation I am going to fell really terrible. I did wait out for you guys along the road from 1-1:30am just in case.

Good fighting, fun event despite the flood and mud. I didn't really thank you Isk for keeping things running despite the unexpected weather and both last minute relocations. You put in alot of hard work with your guys and you kept things running well.

Thanks to your heralds too. They did a great job, kept things running smoothly and firmly. Huzzah!

Thanks to your belly dancer troupe too. Nice.

And the feast was delicious.

For an inagural event for a newish park.
My hat is off to Isk and co. for a * fine time.

Good:
fun fighting, fairly clean fighting barrring the thick kid with the spear.
Breeder getting his Bel cherry popped in such an awesome way.
Partyin with the dogs and Pippin not deciding to kill all of our drunken asses.
Belly dancers
feast
single blue bear pit.
Dag peeps from Vegas with amazingly great attitudes inspite of the Taco influence (Seriously dont be so bloody reverent whan you mention his name, it creeps me out).
Subaru all wheel drive and kick * snow tires for the drive out, that was AWESOME fun.

Bad:
signage/communication around relocation
the rain

Ugly:
Ryan Suly Avater garb..... I kid... that cat was awesome

Leaf, Mulligan, and myself had personal issues or financial problems arise. We sincerely apologize for missing your event and that you waited out on the road for us to show.

Yes. Special thanks to Isk and co. for all the hard work and your belly dancing troupe = hotness. :P

Loptr - Really? Considering I walked out onto the field, was almost crouched and held up that mini-coffin shield that says Voodoo people along with my tigger tail colored bat...and basically went...."Come on. I'm a baby troll in training. I dare you to hit me."....to the badass vets and big guys...lol...I think I've been thoroughly influenced and have caught the taco plague since he has been here.

It was good having met you and your Amtgard buddy though. Also I'll pm you later. I completely spaced out on a few things I should of told you about the military and your boy-o.

Also the Dogs of War were some badass fighters all to themselves. I was impressed by their leader. Sadly, I never got the boys name or was able to tell him.

Anyway...peace out from the dag mascot. I'll skim the boards again later on.
Zin pulling on his helmet among the array of full plated armor he wears...

Alacian: "Didn't have enough armor on, sir?"

Zin: "It was interfering with the operation of my shield you see."

Alacian: "All that armor is interferrin' with my killin' you, I think."

Kage, no need to apologize I am just glad you guys didn't make the trip down and then not find us.

Thanks for all the kind words Loptr and Alacian, it was a lot of fun out there with you guys. We are planning a few enhancements for next year, definitely including Loptr's lights so we can fight Friday night and Saturday after feast.

I guess in those improvements I'll need to engrave the signage in stone so it passes Loptr's "discerning tastes" ;) They would have rocked had the rain not washed away the magic marker!

Thanks for coming all! We had a blast and are looking forward to better weather, more peeps, and an all-around awesome time next year. See you at other events this season.
