So, I may not be able to hit up WW. I have my first MMA fight July 9th, and missing four days of training in a row really isn't an option right now.

I'll see what I can do, but put me down as a maybe right now.

My respect level for you was like this much, but now its like, not as much. You are Disappoint, isn't hitting people with foam sticks fight training enough?

It's okay, my love for you is still THIIIIIIS much. I'll do my best.

No, I've missed too much already. I've only been fighting hard since January, and I've missed a lot. Gotta make up for all that time and keep my club lookin' good.

If anyone has any items they would like to bring up at Western Wars War Council please let me know so I can put it on the Agenda.

Also I need someone to play secretary and take notes. I would do it myself but well, I have to be talking and I don't talk and write very good at the same time.

site looks awesome tho(much better with bigger pix) and cant wait. the camping area appears to be much bigger than Humas drawing shows it to be.

Postby Bhakdar » Wed May 12, 2010 12:08 pm

Heads up I will be hosting a garb & gear sale at Western Wars and have posted this elsewhere (Western Bel, Babylon Babble, For Sale).

I don't want to derail the official thread, but for any folks coming from afar or especially trying to outfit their newer fighters there will be a plethora of tunics & tabards for $10-20. Broadswords & clubs available will be $30 minimum each due to high-grade materials (note 6 out of 10 weapons are already spoken for).

If you're interested, pm me or reply to where this is posted in another thread. I also have my remaining basic training CDs for sale at $5. They have instructional videos and tutorials about the rules, weapon checking, and combat as well as advanced sparring & trial footage.

Don't reply here! PM me, email me at bhakdar@gmail.com, or reply on the Western Bel thread)

Thanks!

We love you, but will need a crash course and weapon$ and Garb.

We have weapons that might meet your standards, or not.

I'll talk to Kestrel and some of the other Gondor folks about making sure we have enough spare weapons for y'all.

70% chance of rain Thursday and Friday. Saturday 50% and Sunday is 30%. So rain early on in the event is happening, and hopefully not so by the end of it.

I would like to thank everyone who attended WW7. I had an awesome time and if it wasn't for the weather not drizzling all over us every day, I know we would of had some more awesome fighting as well.

Thanks to everyone who kept their camp sites clean and in order. I had to only spend about two hours cleaning up after everyone was gone, compared to the about 5 of last year. But this is due to the fact that there were trash cans all over AND recycling. Thanks to the small group of people who went around picking up bottles and trash throughout the event.

Thanks to the Ruckus crew for providing Ruckus. I love you guy's to death and you guys kept yourselves under control very well for the most part. I rarely had to talk to you guys and when I did, you listened. I apprentice greatly. I got absolutely zero negative responses from the park rangers. They all thought we were great and everything was in order, this only means that next year I'll try letting you guys bump the noise level up a notch and see what happens then until I find the happy medium.
Sorry to those who had some things broken by the ruckus crew, I hope that the compensation I gave was enough to make up for the rampaging.

Sorry to some of you who wanted a quiet camp and instead it was still loud camp. I have plans next year to help with that and trying to keep both the people who want to go to sleep at a decent hour happy and those of you who want to stay up the whole night and not get any sleep at all happy.

Thanks to everyone who helped cooked and prepared food, it was all great tasting and wonderful.

Thanks to those who helped Herald and weapons check.

If you have any items missing I'll be posting a lost items post here soon. I know Slagg and Alexsii both lost their wallets, I was unable to find any wallets so everyone please check your items. I believe I could trust every one at WW not to be crooks.

I'll see you all next year at WW8. Where the new slogan will be "You signed the waiver, need more knives, and where bromance is rampant".

It can't be said enough times, THANK YOU HUMA! You made it all possible!

I already miss you guys like crazy and can't wait to see everyone again.

I also wanna give a special thanks to Valerian (and co.) for handling the feast on Saturday and making sure I got home. Big thanks to the Amtgard crew that showed up - Dogboy, Shayden, Dangus, and Baelnorn, y'all come back real soon now, y'hear? Team Foamwars, you guys were super chill and I hope to see some of you again. And thank you to everyone who provided me with shelter, food, drink, bruises, fire, party favors, and lots and lots of lulz. You know who you are.

The only thing I lost was a single Century MMA glove (the right hand). It should have the stitching on the letter "c" ripped out.
