Beltaine XVII, May 5-8, 2011 Pre-Registration is OPEN and will close April 17. Cabins go fast and will be marked off the cabin map as they're reserved. If you DO NOT reserve a cabin accordingly or you will not be staying in a cabin with someone, please be prepared to tent*. Pre-Reg is $15 per person, or pay $20 at Troll!
Waivers are also available at this time and a parent/guardian notarized signature is required for all persons under the age of 18. If you are a minor and you do not have notarized waiver and a guardian of 21 or older you will be sent home!
Please read all the instructions for pre-registration... especially the part about needing names of EVERYONE you're paying for and everyone who's staying in the cabins!

and to answer your question it is usually held at Montgomery Bell state park in Burns TN

I am kinda new to the Belegarth stuff, and I usually don't do the fighting, just the role play and I do tarot readings, but where will the site be for preregistering and such? Do we have any kind of idea on the prices this year? Thanks Everyone. ^^

This is one to go to Kraesh...Mont. Bell is a great place for events and last time I was at one (10+years ago) Beltain was a hella fun event.

Pre-Registration for Beltaine will begin mid-March. The exact date will be posted when available!

The exact date when pre-registration opens will be posted when the exact date is determined/decided upon. I'm not in charge of this, I only help... I simply asked our administration if I could post an approximate timeline so people could have more notice.

So who is running Beltaine this year?

The Fianna are running Beltaine this year. I'm still waiting to hear when pre-reg opens.

I apologize for the lack of info that has been proved from my end. Real life gets in the way alot. Paypal for prereg will be open on midnight March 20th and will close on April 17th .

The event fees will be at the door is $20.00. Pre-reg is $15.00

I'm sorry for the short notification on this. I will be posting more info in the next day or so and a link to the paypal link will be posted soon as well. Thank you to everyone on hopefully being understanding on this.

Oh and is there a slave auction at Beltaine? (No I'm not volunteering.)

This is pretty close to me, I might register for this.

The docks are closed. We did not have a slave auction planned unless you want to run it?

New changes to Montgomery Bell from the Rangers:

No open fires at all. The only exceptions are Propane grills and the Bonfire.

Troll will open for everyone at 5:30pm and for Merchants at 5:00pm on Thursday.

Also everyone needs to be out by 10:00AM on Sunday. We will be waking everyone at 8:00am.

Sorry all but these changes are coming from the Rangers and the Park.

Woot Beltaine!

Beltaine 2011: Be about it.

Tiki Torches are ok.

Considering that Beltaine is just about a week away, it would really be nice to get confirmation of the cabins we pre-registered for. We have never had to wait this long to find out if/what we got. This is making it difficult for out of town people to plan where they are going to stay, or even if they have lodging. Can this please be expedited?

Perhaps you should e-mail Chance. I reserved a cabin 3 weeks ago and got an e-mail confirmation from him a few days later.

Oh, he has been emailed - apparently they 'lost' my list that I wrote out when I paid in person or something, since I had to give them my cabin numbers again...it's so sloppy it's pathetic...and I'm local! In fact, my unit leader had to email him for information to get anything done.

I've also had a lot of trouble getting him to email me back. I've sent two or three emails but still haven't been able to get my questions answered.

Sending Pookah off...In style...


For those of you who were not aware, Rowan the Pookah (big ears, goofy attire) passed back in December from mesothelioma.

His wife Kelly (aka Pixie) is coming to Beltaine on Thursday night to scatter some ashes down at the dock with Wick and myself. We are planning on playing some of our old music that we used to play around the fire at events. All are welcome to join us Thursday night. I don't know what the exact time will be, but we will wander around letting people know before we do this.

This will be a great time to say goodbye to a dear friend of ours who always loved this game.
All we ask is to be respectful and no drama.

Me and my crew had a great time at the event. Thanks to Finn and the Fianna along with everyone else who helped make this a great event. Great time fighting EBF, Rogues, Horde, Bladestorm (along with Cu Sith and Ravenous when they weren't doing unit tests in the while the Saturday's main fights were going on). Good stuff, we'll be making the trip to Dur-D again in the future. Btw, the feasts rocked our faces, Gavin knows his trade well!

Beltaine was awesome!
