We will be play-testing new stabbing rules at Rhun Closer and want to get as many people and oppinoins as possible. Single green will do one point of damage and double green will count as two points. Stabs will count count toward limb total and effect armor.

First off, does this include arrows? (If so, I will have a whole different post about how this is a bad idea)
Second, will this change anything against shields? (someone brought up double could, and if so, this would make having reds pointless)
Also, I believe this is extremely over powering. You are giving a spearman the ability from far away to cause someone's leg to count towards one limb to kill them. (rather they have armor on or not if it is two handed)
My question for you instead is why change the rule? What is the problem that changing the rule will solve? I think changing the rule, personally, will give more power to spears which they do not need. Also, I have seen people use daggers as double green. I grew up watching this. How does that affect them? (all it needs be is two handed...)

It will allow us to have a full on side by side comparison with the same people and weapons as to how it changes the field as well as allow those of us not in favor of the rule change to enjoy the fighting we love
