Yestare 11 is going to be held May 20th through the 22nd.

Feast will be Saturday evening after fighting and Tournaments!

Fun times fun times!

More details will come, so stay tuned kids!

UPDATE!!!

A site has been found! It isn't the greatest site ever, but I, as well as many other Belegrim, have used this site before.

Crystal Hot Springs is our site! The link below can give you directions.

Also, as with most events, most of the fighting will happen on Saturday. Friday and Sunday being days of packing or unpacking.

UPDATE!!! IMPORTANT!!!
There will be background checks run for everyone attending this event. This goes for everyone, including event staff. Everyone means literally everyone. This is for the safety and protection of our membership. If you are pre-registering and know of something that happened in your past, be upfront. Also, any registered sex-offenders MUST pre-reg. If you have not pre-reg'd, this could cause an issue at the site. So, please do us a favor and pre-reg.

Pre-reg will last up until a day or so before the event. If I do not have your pre-reg before I leave my house, you have not pre-reg'd.

What will the tourneys be?

I do believe we will be doing:

Single Blue
4-Man
Sword and Board
Champion

If there is a huge uprising for more tourneys than that may be considered.

There will be prizes for these. As well as I am considering to do a prize for best camp, best garb and best herald. Just throwing some ideas around.

Ft. Buena Ventura again? I had read a post from someone asking about where the event should be held this year and Geddon has Crystal Hot Springs, UT as the site, but that info was updated in 2005.

Price is our issue here. I have been doing everything I could to get a site and no one around here is answering their phones or voicemails. I have some folks doing some ground work for me, trying to nail the site.

there is actually a cool camp ground up by eden its really nice the have an event there eveery june called june jam its like =our events cept no fighting and garb lol i cant remeber the name of the place tho

no itts mustang flats and cutler flat ive been to both cutler is the better of the 2 and i think you need to contatct the forest service which i posted back a few posts

Horati, good luck. As you talk to the national parks guys do not tell them this is an 'event'. In their lingo, 'Event' translates to something with an audience and spectators where someone is probably making money. Tell them it's a reunion or a get-together of people who know each other on the internet. What we do at our 'events' is far more like a reunion than what they mean when they say event. Reading this thread may be helpful (paying particular attention to Fork's advice at the end):

So, I just want to let everyone know, I should have something by the end of the week. I apologize for all the craziness and what not. I didn't think juggling a newborn, finishing another semester of college and planning an event would be so difficult for me. Boy was I wrong.
