THE INFORMATION EVERYONE HAS BEEN BUGGING ME FOR!!!! (now leave me alone )

Here it is ladies and gents, War of the Forbidding 7 finally has a site and dates.

We are once again going back to Niagara Springs in Jerome for the 3rd year in a row. The dates for this fabulous event are June, 24-26. These dates are confirmed, as is the site. Neither will change.

Cost:
Arriving Friday: $20
Arriving Saturday: $15

Same price as last year, both amounts include feast.

It has been brought to me attention that the feast menu has also been selected. Once I have that information that will also get posted.

Schedule: (subject to change at the discretion of the EC)
Friday: Troll opens at 10 a.m. Pick up battles until noon. Lunch break. More fighting, until six. Dinner break. Pick up battles until dusk. There may be a fun little game for about an hour. Bardic Night begins at full dark; about ten o'clock.

Saturday: Troll and weapons check starts at nine. Fighting begins at nine-thirty. Break for lunch at noon. Fighting until six. Feast should be ready by six-thirty. After feast, you are free to engage in drunken shenanigans until you pass out.

Sunday: Pack it up and haul it out. I want everyone who isn't cleaning up to be out by one or so

We do have the best drunken shenanigans. Too bad we didn't get a picture of Rath's camp after the first night of last year. You could've made oatmeal on the ground with a nice marshmallow cookie covering after we got done with that camp.

I am not planning any tournaments this year; I want it to be a fun, laid-back event. Bardic Night will not be judged. I may be bringing back Epic Beads; not sure yet. I will keep you all posted on that.

The reason Karion didn't have the dates is because the parks and rec people didn't call us back. He's been trying to get in touch with them since March.

Moon, I know. I had talked to him several times about it. It's just late because a lot of people already have their time off in, and I think somebody has that weekend already.

Guys, it's in June, it is almost ALWAYS in June. It should not be a big * shock that this year we are once again doing WoF, in June. I apologize for not getting the dates up sooner, I can't make them open the park any sooner, and I cannot force them to call me back.

If you can make it, I would love to see all of you, if you can't then there is always Chaos. Either way, please stop * about the time frame in which this information was posted. What's done is done, and the info is out there. I would be seriously glad that we are having this event, as there was some discussion as to if we even wanted to do WoF this year. * about how soon this information was posted will believe it or not, not help in any way shape or form.

Dude, seriously, slow the roll. All I was doing was explaining my first comment. And while yes, WOF is usually in June, there are four weekends in June, and other events. Nobody is *, we're kidding man. We're happy WOF is happening, and I, like everyone else, will do our best to be there.

Thank you, Karion. Anyway, I am working on getting the menu for feast. What I do know so far is that there will be veggies, bread, some yummy dessert items, and potatoes. The primary protein is still undecided, as we are looking at pricing options, but we're leaning toward pork loin. I will keep everyone posted.

This is still up in the air right now. I have the time off from my present job, but I am looking for a new job right now too.

WoF will be amazing! I have an awesome menu planned, sure to make all the mouths water. Things have been planned, peoples are psyched and now all we can hope for is a really good turn out and SUNSHINE! See ya'll there!

First off, a HUGE thanks and a dozen roses and/or cookies to Sir Karion D'Learive, who safeguards my questionable sanity on a daily basis, and even more so when I'm running WoF.
