I would say that only in case of bad weather or something should merchants use the pavilion. other groups may want to use it, or people may just want to hang out in there at night.

Cabin Information:

If you would like to reserve a cabin, email info@stonehousepark.net to reserve one. they are $60 a night, and sleep 10-15, depending on how comfortable you want to get. all cabins have heat/ac and electricity. First come, first served.

I have actually sent two emails to info@stonehouse.net and not received a word back on it. Have they been getting through, or caught in the spam filter? I use a gmail address. Thank you for posting the prices though, that answers one of my questions.

I keep getting error message that email did not go through to stonehouse on address provided. I, like Sparrow, also have gmail....
Can we verify if they have a filter on that may be putting things in spam or blocking emails?

make sure you are sending the email to info@stonehousepark.net. the park part is important. sending an email to stonehouse.net won't get you anywhere.

Actually a lot of the flights have adjusted prices recently and also depends where you are flying FROM.

Those interested in heralding can come see me at the event. Those wishing to help herald, but don't like heralding, can feel free to donate food or water to my heralds. No amout of generosity will allow you to get away with cheating. :)

There will be multiple bridges for bridge battles.

I'm not sure as to the current state of the castle, but it will hopefully be available for fighting. We do have enough haybales for a decent city fight, regardless.

This may be a long shot, but I'm looking for someone driving back in the direction of North Carolina after the event with a space for a rider/co-driver. My ride down is staying for a wedding, and I'm not 100% sure how I'm getting back yet.

And city battles? Sadly, due to stupid classes, looks like I'm sadly going to miss the castle/city battle. This makes me sad. Didn't fight in castle battles last year but everyone who was looked like they had a blast and I was interested in maybe trying it this year. Got some GREAT photos form them last year. Probably the best way to get fighting pics at an event.

Last I was made aware, the castle was under water too many times and has been burned.

Also, this is the upcoming events boards, not Facebook. Personal gripes and such should really be kept to a minimum. If someone hasn't answered a question yet, it probably means they don't have an answer yet. Continuing to ask the same question will not get you an answer faster.

Just a reminder for those that didn't catch it:

Weapons check opens at 9 a.m.

Missle Check closes at 10 a.m.

That's a full hour earlier than usual in an effort to get more fighting in. Archers please try to get your arrows/bows in as soon as possible so we can keep things moving along.
