Ran into some Amtgard guys at the Ren Faire and they mentioned this event. Apparently it's a cross Dagorhir/Amtgard event in Wolf Creek Park, on Lake Shellbyville, near Windsor, Illinois (Kinda by Charleston-Mattoon).

I think it sounds like fun, and I need an excuse to go see a friend who's going to Southern (this would be half-way for both of us).

Is there gonna be a group going?

Everyone should go, it'll be legit! With either pre-reg or at gate you get three meals included in the cost of entrance. Friday night, Saturday morning and night. Should be expecting pretty good numbers too, my realm is helping run it.

Who's your friend going to Southern? Do they swing stick?

Checkers. I believe you met him at Geddon, he's Caleidah's buddy. I can PM you his real name so you can harrass him on Fb if he doesn't come to practice.

And I just talked to Noodles of Gilead, he said a bunch of Gilead/Exile boys are going, since a lot of them fight w/ the East Peoria Amt group (Burning Plains?), so I should have to obsticles in going now!

I don't know if there is a pre reg, but its only 20 for the weekend anyway.
