Spring Wars?

Maybe I missed the thread, but I read over the first page three times and didn't see anything about it. Are there dates yet? I'm trying to schedule an event around it.

Spring Wars is run by Wolfpack, and they almost never start thinking about that event until after Wolfpack Opener is over. And those dates aren't even up yet. So no, they won't be available for a while. It's usually the 2nd or 3rd weekend in April though, if that helps.

Yeah i would not count on a specific time, it changes way to much lol. If your planning an event around it though i would suggest getting it done first week in april so you know its going to be free OR try it in may thats when my realm does our own things so its inbetween Spring Wars and Geddon

Unless we move it up a month, or Forest Glen changed their opening dates, this is rather unlikely. They don't open up the campsite that early, which is why Spring Wars hasn't been held there.

There will be pretty much no information on this event until WPO is over. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears keen, though. We (Wolfpack) will post information as soon as we have it.

So are we atleast for sure where it will be? just so i can kind of figure out gas money and such. and i also might be able to help bus people from ohare in chicago or one of the other neighboring airports. I'll let you guys know

Honestly, the past two years at least, nothing has been decided until after Opener. Last year...it was well past opener (so around this time) that everything was decided.
There are factors beyond just, "oh, wolfpack, get your **** together." Can't decide on a date without knowing if a site is open that date.

Now while we will patiently wait, some of us have to put in vacation days 2 months in advance for things thus we like a bit of a heads up. I understand running an event specially 2 events so close to each other can be troublesome. But the more info out here the better.

We were almost screwed last year with dates, because we put info out so early. So your choices are this: Get potential dates that are about a 50% chance of being right, or wait until we can get dates confirmed with the site, and know they are for sure the dates. I will tell you, there has been mention of SW being later this year, so little fear of it being mid-April and you not having time to get off.
(also...years/details are hard to keep straight when you've been involved in running the event the past 3 years in a row)

Isn't going to happen, they don't like us, and don't have the room for the amount of people that are now coming to events. Not to mention the guy that lives less than a mile from the event site.

So we do know that it will be at stone house then or we are atleast hoping? I dont care so much about when as to where, i'll kill my boss to make sure i can make it to a * event lol just need to know how much money to take from him in order to actually make it there gotta start saving.

Anybody outside of wolfpack got anything planned for spring wars like Unit barreling or anything of the such? Depending on the weather my realm will be having a nice Ramen dinner probably the first night if it is cold out and such if anybody wants some free grub.
