Beat on Something; a Drummers Retreat Hosted at Britannia Faire 4/20-4/22

Oye Ye ! Oye Ye! Come and join us at the Faire for a weekend of PEACE! ....but not Quiet!!
Beat on Something is a gathering for drummers (and Dancers) who wish to hone their skills, learn new rhythms, and explore new bridges between musicians and Dancers.
This retreat is also PERFECT for folks who have NEVER DRUMMED BEFORE!! There will be a class taught on how to make simple and inexpensive drums, as well as intro classes to basic drumming and basic intro to Middle Eastern beats.
Retreat site fee is 20$ for camping, classes (some classes may have an additional materials fee) and feast on Saturn's Eve. A formal event schedule will be forth coming soon. Contact Shanna H on the Tome of Faces or Shae here if you desire to teach a course.
**keep in mind there is no combat scheduled for this event! Weapons will be checked at the gate; and you can pick them up on your way home. The focus will be entirely on performance art, music, and merry making**
