Specifically, this is a map of the area we'll be camping in. For a larger, more global map check Bing or Google. There is minor one alteration to the map above, Merchants' Row will be next to Troll. Also, for your edification, when you're driving into the park you want to head toward the Mass Recreation Area or the Visitor's Center. Once you reach the Visitor's Center, Troll will be just South of that. We'll show you the camping areas once you arrive.

Derian, no, we're not allowing anyone to reserve spots this year, because we don't know how the Park Rangers will respond to us. We're kind of pushing the louder, rowdier groups toward certain areas. If you want to tell me who you'll be camping with and what I can expect from your group, I can tell you where we want you to be.

Oktoberfest Waiver and Codes of Conduct

EVERYONE under the age of 18 must have a notarized waiver. This means you have to take your filled out waiver to a notary and have them stamp, sign, and date your waiver to make it a legal document.

Specific Rules for Various Ages of Guests

15 years old and below
*You MUST be accompanied by your parent/legal guardian to be at Oktoberfest. (absolutely no other chaperon will work)
*You MUST have a notarized waiver.

16-17 years old
*You MUST have a notarized waiver
*You MUST have a chaperon that is at least 21 years old.

Proper identification is required by all participants (fighting or not) to attend the event. This means you must provide a state/government issued photo ID. I don't care if you are balding, going gray, with a cane or walker...you must provide proof. Please come prepared.

Ok all my ducks are in a row with the local health Dept. I need to know how much Power I will have available and is the campground charging me extra for my power seperate from the merchanting fee.

Feri, we're setting aside two outlets for you and at this time, no the site will not be charging you for power. This may change, though based upon power consumption (the park will let us know if they want to charge you extra).

Bless you! By outlets do you mean plug ins or poles...my set up takes 8 plug ins for state health dept minimum.

2 deep freezers (cannot use coolers must be Mechanical cooling units), 2 griddles (Vegitarian and Meat),lights,roaster (warming Table), Microwave (For fast heating of food to minimum 140 degrees), Hot water Heater(must be on at all times for Sanitation Purposes )

I got a surprise last weekend when I got there. 25.00 Per outlet. I don't mind paying extra for power, I just need to know ahead.

I am bringing 96 Giant mugs for Root Beer Floats, and New on the menu will be Hot meat Ball Sandwiches ( I want to see how well they go.)

I just wanted to thank everyone for the great job they did at octoberfest. Troll people and other volunteers never get enough thanks for babysitting all of us;D

Angel everything is NOT your fault..lol Rain and cold weather are not your fault even if you are an angel.

to everyone who complained I want to remind everyone the site was found in 3 days and was a park not a campground so that is why we had the Funky Rules.

I am looking into finding an alternative for my power needs (it takes 16 plugs to run the stand and I only had 4, yay creative juggling) so I can be between the camping and the battle field for next time. Grease lugnuts is gonna bring me a generator and Some of the other vendors are looking into solar generators for in the future.

Any ways Froze my toes, had a good time and did not take a loss even with all the "Fees".

Between EQ, Byzantium, and Octoberfest we were only 6 dollars short of our goal to help Liz (Toadie) Brewer. so thank you to everyone who donated to her. Also the pickles for Boobies brought in a good chunk of change...Thank you to everyone who donated to the cancer reserch! the total will be matched by smokes family so WOOT!
