Sand Plains Opener

When: Saturday September 22nd, 12-6pm.

Weapons check opens at 11.

Where: University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point Campus. On the field in front of Debot Residence Center (#42 on the map linked below)

Fee: NONE!!

FOOD: TBA

If you would like to volunteer to do weapons check, herald, or help at troll, send me a PM. Same goes if people need help finding crash space/hotels.

Please note that the event site may change. It will be on campus I’m currently going through the process of securing either a gym or one of the schools larger athletic fields. In the meantime, we are defaulting to our usual practice field.

*EDIT* We have been given permission by campus security to have archery on our fields.

Lastly, here’s a link to our schools waiver. Fighters 16-17 years old must have a parent/guardian present, or a notarized waiver.

We will be having a feast catered for us at Kristen’s Riverwalk following fighting. It'll be a similar setup to last year: private banquet hall, all you can eat buffet. The owner is still working out the menu, but they put out a good spread for us last year. The cost will be between 10-12 dollars per person plus drinks.

And yes- they have a bar.

UPDATE!!!

As of yesterday, archery is allowed on our campus, so go ahead and bring your bows and arrows after all.
