Highlands of Chaos Opener: March 2nd 2013, Twin Falls, ID

Highlands opener for next year! YAY! Same weekend and times as it always is. This year Shannara has hosting rights so watch this space for more information. Despite that this is a one day event its gotten over a hundred people every year we've run it as a whole Highlands opener!

It is very possible that we will have one of our local television stations there. Be ready with info concerning our sport. Also, it would behoove you all to be in your best fighting garb.

Also, there will be lots of random easy to eat foods and drinks and such, so make sure you save your cash, we don't charge much but we make really tasty things!!!

Let's get ready to kick off the 2013 year! We evidently survived the whole 2012 'apocalypse', now lets continue on beating on each other with style!

Opener will be held at the Twin Falls City Park as always. 10:00 A.M. will be the 'official' kick off time, but fighting can start whenever you wanna start swinging. This year we will be moving to the opposite corner, closer to the big church, as it provides a couple of picnic tables for use. The reason behind this is we will be providing some food stuffs for a small amount of cash. We did this last year, but didn't give people a heads up. This year, we will be providing:

Hot Soup Stuffs!
Homemade Chili
Beer Soup
Potato Chowder

Potato Bar with Toppings

Hot Drinks!
Hot Cocoa
Hot Tea
Wassle (not sure if that is spelled correctly)

There will also be baked goodies, like cookies and the sorts for cheap.

Pricing is

$5.00 for Potato and a Bowl of Soup Combo
- +$1.00 for Chili
$3.00 for just a Bowl of Soup
$3.00 for just a Potato

Funds for this will help us get together another epic War of the Forbidding, so come hungry * it!
