Day-trippers can sign out for a pleasant surprise. We will designate people for you to check out with once troll closes on Saturday. Find Phage, Vael, or Summit.

General Rules:
You must have a STATE OR GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID to gain entry into Spring Wars.
This includes province ID’s, state ID’s, Driver’s licenses, passports, etc. We need your picture and your birthdate. Gotta know it’s you, and gotta know you’re old enough to fight.

1) Park hours: 8 a.m. - 11 p.m

2) Local firewood only, wood will be available for purchase at troll. Collection of firewood is limited to downed, dead woody debris.

3) Speed Limit: 20mph

4) The gate will be locked after midnight! Late arrivals please contact

Summit or Vael to arrange a 15 minute window for the gate to be unlocked. If you miss that window, you are out of luck- so plan accordingly!

5) Underage drinking is prohibited. If you are caught you will be removed from the event.

6) All vehicles must be parked in the parking lot.

The event rules will follow the Belegarth Book of War. Which means minimum garb is REQUIRED to fight.
9) Don’t throw garbage into the porta-potties. If you do, expect to be thrown in after it.
10) Drinking alcohol Is prohibited in the parking lot.
11) Electronic amplified music is prohibited
12) Fires in designated fire pits only.

Too drunk to get your own burgers? Well, you are in luck- we’ll bring ‘em to you! On Friday night, we will be picking up a bulk order of plain double cheeseburgers or hamburgers and condiments from Gross Burger. If you are interested in a glorious –but optional- burger feast, all you have to do is sign up at troll and pay a couple bucks for your food. We’ll then deliver your delicious delicious burgers to your camp for mass consumption!

Pre-regging has the added benefit this year of groups being able to reserve campsites, if they get people in their group to pre-reg. I will have more information on that after the site visit on Saturday - we need to work out how many campsites there will be for reservation and other such details. It's been so long since I've been to Forest Glen!

Pre-reg opens Monday, March 4. Any group that has 15 or more members pre-registered by April 1st will be able to choose a campsite location, choice order to be determined by a random number generator/lottery. Campsite reservation does not mean seclusion, since there is limited space. It does, however, mean that your group will be able to camp in a chosen area. Once a group reaches 15 pre-registered members, I will be reaching out to group leaders or spokespeople for contact information.

Assassins tournament rules and prizes. The tournament will start friday and end Saturday at midnight. feel free to pm me on here or facebook to sign up for the tournament. There will also be a sign-up sheet at troll on thursday. Say if you wish to be an assassin or a mark please.

Prizes shall be:
a pair of 22" stabby daggers and a beltflag for the assassin with the most kills

a beltflag for the mark killed the least

OBJECTIVES:

Assassins- Your objective is to take out Marks, Guards and other Assassins. You will be assigned a Mark by the game leader and will only be given one Mark per hunt. You will not be told who the guards are nor will they be labeled. After each time you kill a Mark, they will give you their token and then you need to return to the game leader and tell them your kill and give them the token as proof. Keep in mind that you do not have to return to the game leader if you kill another assassin or a guard. If killed during an attack the assassin must return to the game leader and receive another target. Assassins are not allowed to use a shield while attacking another player. You may kill other assassins, if they have any tokens on them, they have to give them to you.

Marks- Your objective is to stay alive. You may kill assassins only in self-defense. If the assassin hands you a poison food or beverage then it will be considered a hostile act and you may take action (Unless within a structure). Marks are only allowed 2 Guards. When killed, give the assassin your token and return to Game leader and retrieve a new token.

Guards- Your objective is to keep your assigned mark alive. You may only attack when your Mark is in imminent danger. If killed you are done until your Mark receives a new coin. If the Mark stays ends up alive after being attacked while you are dead you must wait until the Mark dies to rejoin.

RULES:

ABSOLUTELY NO RANGED/MELEE WEAPONS AROUND A CAMPFIRE OR IN ANY STRUCTURE.

The only way to kill within a camp fire circle is with poison or a slit throat.

No ranged weapons after dusk.

The only method of killing during feast or in troll is poison.

No (in game) killing on the field or on the side lines of the field.

As soon as you are in the tree line or on the road YOU ARE IN GAME!

No killing while a Mark, Guard or Assassin is within 10 ft of the game leader.

ALL EVENT RULES ARE IN HIGHER STANDING THAN THE GAME. IF YOU ARE IN VIOLATION OF THE EVENT RULES YOU WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE GAME.

HOW TO WIN:

Assassin with the most tokens collected wins

Assassins- When you kill a mark they will present you with a token to show that you have killed them. When you kill an assassin they will give you the tokens they have in their possession, as will you if you were to be killed by another assassin. The assassin with the most tokens counted at the end of the game is the winner. When you die you must return to the game leader to announce your death and receive a new mark.

Marks- When you are killed, you will give your token to the assassin. When you die you must return to the game leader to announce your death and you will be given another token if you do not have any.

Guards- Are defense only. There is no way to win the game but helping friends is fun.

WEAPONS:

Melee- Any blue/red/green weapon. No reds over 6 ft long (this is simply to restrict damage of personal property)

Ranged- Any yellow or white weapon. ONLY TO BE USED BETWEEN DAWN AND DUSK.

Throat Slices- A mark from provided (knife) that is at least TWO inches long on the front or side of the neck. Game leader will have lip stick or equivalent so that nothing permanent is done.

Poison- The apothecary will provide poison. Bribes will be needed to receive poison.

PEOPLE OF POWER:

Game Leader: Gives you your Marks, records kills and deaths, gives you your token and makes sure you follow the rules.

Apothocary: Gives you poisons for a price. These prices will be determined between the Apothocary and the Game Leader.

Informant: Will give you valuable information on Marks, Assassins and Guards for a price. The prices will be determined between the Informant and the Game Leader.

I would be willing to run a class. In my experience, who shows up in the moment tends to be a different dynamic from who posts about what they want to learn on the internet anyway-- so I'd probably just pick a time and cater what we cover to who shows up.

Assassin's Tourney Update: Poison Rules

Acquiring Poison:
Anyone wishing to use poison to generate kills will find the apothecary (that's me). Poison is dispensed in exchange for bribes of all kinds, beer, liquor, cash, kind trades, and favors of all kinds. Poison will come in 1 oz vials which must be used immediately after opening (Return vial when reporting kill to the Master of Assassins).

Types of Poisoning:
Consumable-Add contents of vial to whatever you want to poison.
Weapon-Sprinkle vial on any weapon to make its next hit to any target area lethal
Contact poison- Poured directly on the mark. Invalid if spotted and called out within 8 seconds of administering poison.

Simple as that. Good killing.

I will be hosting tournaments this year with four weapon types: Sword and Board, Single Blue, Flo and Red. If you'd like to signup for these events during the week, these will be available at troll or contact me and I will make sure you're on the list.

There will be prizes handed at feast so those that do win can be recognized. Hope to see anyone that is interested hit up these tournaments.

SATURDAY, SATURDAY, SATURDAY!!!!!

This Saturday, we will be holding the most epic gladiator pits that Forest Glen has ever seen. And you can take it from me, there have been some pretty intense ones over there years!!

BEVERAGES WILL BE SERVED TO THOSE WEARING TOGAS, and it is highly recommended that togas are worn in general, because it makes you a lot more likely that you will get into the spirit of the night and be totally fine with screaming for blood (which is greatly encouraged).

GLADIATORS WILL BE SOLD FRIDAY NIGHT, AUCTION STYLE – On Friday, the gladiators will be auctioned off and the proceeds will be split between booze for Saturday, and a charity. Ask Summit for details on that (not my department). Owning a gladiator will give you someone to specifically cheer for, so show up and bid on your friends or enemies. We will also be doing some crowd involvement, and if you own a gladiator, it will help with that. Pool money with friends or just make it rain because you are a generous kind of baller. The money is going to good places.

THERE WILL BE A GLADIATOR ROUND-UP BEFORE THE PITS OFFICIALLY START. Before the pits start, a group of guards will be travelling to all of the camps looking for the gladiators who signed up, and capturing them. If you want to have some crazy fun with an audience, sign up for the glad pits, it is a great way to have fun and meet people. And also kill those people is crazy ways.

MAKE YOUR PRESENCE KNOWN – if you have a unit or group of badasses, show up procession style to the gladiator pit all fancified and sit together to add to the atmosphere and excitement of the pits. Sit with people that you want to cheer with. You can also cheer for your gladiators, as being a crowd favorite is part of the criteria for the person chosen as the best gladiator. So hype up your gladiators!

If anyone needs an electrical hookup at night for a c-pap give me a couple of dollars for help on the gas and I will let you hook up to the generator at night.
