This is a Belegarth event.

Come one, come all! The first annual Battle of the Ozarks is happening! We have five tournaments planned, with prizes to give away for the victors. Tournaments may be double elimination based on attendance. This is a day event, no overnight stay necessary.

A viking boat crew from Dur Demarion has already announced their intentions of traveling west to us with the intent of claiming our lands! I have assured their leaders that they will return home covered in their own shields.

Tournaments include:
Dagger
Single Blues
Sword & Board
Javelins (that's right!)
Four-Horsemen (Main event)

We will have a cookout-style feast afterwards to celebrate the glory had on the battlefield. Burgers and dogs, along with other standard summer cookout fare. Times subject to change based on atendee availability (if many people will be late, we will push back the tournaments to accommodate accordingly).

I know this is late posting, and we are out of the way. However, if any of you are in the area and are in need of some beat-giving or taking, come by.

Admins, there is no need to add this to the sticky. Thank you for letting us post.

Two of the Dur-D guys are close friends of mine, we were in the Navy together. They, along with Dur-D and Sage Hill (dag) have been very supportive with getting us going. My hope is that this time next year we can do this properly with plenty of advance time to get some of the groups from OK city and the little rock area. 3 hours isn't a bad drive for a day event, imo. I'd take a three-hour tour!
