I'm not sure I want to see anyone dance around a campfire. But as Sirak said they have to respect your religion. I got McDonald's in trouble when I worked there because of something like that. and yes I did work there. we all make mistakes so hey. and Cedric said you have to be there so now you have to be there. ;) and where do I get the new Cedric action figure.

I missed that game due to my ankle colliding with someone's unpadded haft durring bridge battles.

So with just under 30 days till the event begins we have yet to have some kind of pre reg or knowtification of the event will actually happen. I hate to *, but I need to give at least 2 weeks knowtice before I can go on vacation as will most of my people. How ever if the event is delayed for a week or two I wouldn't mind seeing how I could probally get more people to come with us.

the event will happen the dates and site are set: April 7-10 honeyville Utah...same place it was last year. I don't know about pre-reg anymore you'll have to ask Sphinx about that.

just to inform those who plan on coming. There is a super walmart in that town. maybe something about the local shops for repairing weapons and getting materials would be a good idea next year. just a thought.

EDIT:
I just looked around to see what turnys there are going to be and I didn't see any thing writen. A crazy idea would be a pole arm turny. Mainly cause I want to see shrat kick everyone's * with his spear.

Or, promise to make it to the first ever Colorado Medieval Festival, here in Fort Collins, the first week of June. Mordor is going to neeeeed good fighters in good garb. (We get our own campsite, and our own space to do demo's from.) There'll be lots of beer & partying after hours. We're going to ask the organizer if we can make this into a Mini-Mordor event.

OK Cryn, for the price of the event you will also have access to pool, hot tubs and waterslides. I would guess after the turnout at Thaw Brawl, there will be over 100 people there. It's good clean fighting, nightime activities range from clean to whatever. You can hit Shrat as he is hanging from a tree like a pinata. Did I mention the HOT TUBS. Anyhow, hope to see you there Cryn.

its not a bad place for children, its got numerous swimming pools, hot tubs, and waterslides. My wife had her company party there last year, was a good time.

Ok I have a Brother-in-Law coming, and wants to bring the family, so what is the price for non-fighters? They will be camping the from friday night to prolly saturday night.

For the people of Ered Duath or Ogden for that matter, that don't have a ride. Im going to have to be working the Thursday and Friday morning From 3:30Am to 11:30Pm.
So I will Drive up After work each day, and then drive home Thursday.
Talk to me and maybe I could give a ride to some folks at these times. To get you up there when you can leave?
12:00 pm Tursday then drive home at 8:00pm
12:00 pm Friday

Non fighters are only paying if they eat the feast which is 5 bucks a head. But if they fight at all, they pay full price

As for mapquest: there's a map and directions from the north and the south on the website at http://www.doomcherry.ravenshadowed.com/yestare. It's really easy to find and I don't expect anyone to get lost. If all else fails, remember that it's Crystal Hot Springs. There's signs on the roads.

The grand champion prize at yestare is going to be KICK *. It will either be a hand crocheted event blanket or a full length cloak (with lining even). Right now it's leaning toward the cloak.

I've never worked with paypal, but they tell me that it will be set up in a couple of days. Here's to hopin' I'm still slightly nervous about using it. I'll post as soon as it's up and running and PM the people that have been asking me about it. If you wish to send a check or money order, PM me and I'll give you my address. Note: all pre-reg's must be accompanied by a waiver. Or, if you pay pal, a waiver must be presented at troll.

One more note, hot tubs are not included with the event price. The more people that come this year, the more likely that I'll be able to afford doing so next year. Keep that in mind. If you visit the Crystal Hot Springs website, I believe that you can print out a coupon. They also give discounts to those who have valid military ID's. All in all, it's a great site. There's showers (bring a swim suit, they're somewhat communal) and flushing toilets and everything.

Also, dress warm. It's been a wee bit cold these past few weeks. It's too early to get an accurate weather report for that weekend, but it looks to be partly cloudy.

And ya'll have to be there. Or I'll kick yer boots.

Yeah, we are Amtgard. But we want more violence! Last weeks border war was good fun. The look in Aiken's eye when he received his first shield kick was priceless!

And no we wont bring our pixie stix. I have built up some Bel weapons last night, just need covers.

FB tells me that I need to party with Soo Ma Tai and crew.
