Hey, how is everyone? I'm pretty new to this forum, and brand new to Belegarth. I've always been really into the whole fantasy/medieval genre and liked competitive sports, so when I was first introduced to Belegarth by a friend, it was like a dream come true.
Anyway, my friend was in belegarth about four years ago, and is about to get back into it. We're joining the numenor chapter, so i just wanted to meet a few people online that i could talk to/train with or whatever when i get back home. Right now, Im in Iraq and wont be home for a few months yet. So any tips, advice, or helpful hints I could get from people, id really appreciate, and if there's any numenorians out there who could fill me in on practice times/whereabouts, status of units, etc. that would help out a great deal too. Thanks alot, I hope to see you all at Armageddon in June.

Compared to what you are doing in Iraq right now, this is much easier. You'll be joining one of the 3 largest realms in the game, so you will be surrounded by plenty of veterans to learn from.

My advice:

1 - talk to as many people as you can for ideas and perspectives on characters and the game
2 - fight with as many people as you can to learn different fighting styles and techniques
3 - Hit as many events as possible, the people are great and the nightlife is awesome
4 - Have fun

Hello HomeTeam

First, thank you for your service to our country, and welcome home/to the game.

Secondly, let me continue by agreeing with Zzyzx. You'll find that everyone in Belegarth is very friendly and helpful. Just post any questions you have and you'll get the answers/perceptives and maybe spark a debate.

Also...you can check out the Belegarth Wiki. I know it doesn't help for conversation, but it does give you background on a lot of the game.

And finally, don't be afraid to send a PM. I've met a LOT of people just by sending them a PM to tell them I thought something they said was helpful or clever. Again...the majority of people in Belegarth are really friendly and will welcome you with open arms...okay that sounds a little too friendly...but I think you get the gist of it... LOL

Welcome to the game again...See you at 'Geddon! :)

What ever you do. Don't join the hord. They may win all the time. But they eat babies. And babies don't tese like beef or fish.

And seeing that you'll be in Numenor you should join up with House Veldemar. We have about 21 or so in Blue tunics. And becomeing more bad a** by the day. So feel free to look at the link.

Other than us in Numenor there is the Uruk-Hai, Hellhammmer, Heidoran, Dark Guard of Mordor,Brotherhood of the Falcon, And Elite Bloodfalcons.

Hope to see you soon,Moran

Honestly, I'd almost say my best piece of advice would be not to think about to much more until your closer to home.

I know that when I was new, if i wasn't gonna be able to fight for a few months, it was hell. I could only imagine it being like opening a preasent on christmas and being told you get to play with it on Easter.

Other than, don't get pressured into joining a unit. Take a few months, take a look at everything out there, soak up the game mechanics and have fun. After you feel you've seen enough, maybe been to a couple of events, then shop around. For now, just fight, and enjoy your realm.

YOU LIKE HORDE. YOU WANT TO JOIN DEE HORDE. HORDE WIN. YOUR LIFE IS INCOMPLETE WITHOUT DEE HORDE. ALL IS INFERIOR TO DEE HORDE. HORDE IS DEE ONLY CHOICE. YOU CANNOT RESIST DEE HORDE. IF YOU DON'T JOIN DEE HORDE THEN THE COMMIES/TERRORISTS/NAZIS HAVE ALREADY WON...

kidding... but not really.

HoRdE= the destroyers of all things good and beatiful. death's left hand .

if's evil we like it if it's overplayed evil we like even better

best analogyof thwe horde is like a gorilla in the zoo as long as the bars and cage are separating you they are funny and goofy but ifyou've got to breath THEIR air then the situations a little different

oh and TeeDged in reference too your sig line ive always thought victory came from hitting the unsuspecting in the genitals
