Why do you say "Until the Ocarina of Time came out!"? The main character has been called Link ever since the first Zelda game was released on the NES.

I think that Ocarina of Time was the most recognized and played game that featured Link. (well maybe not since that new game came out)

That is why I meantioned it instead of A Link to the Past.
