Queations About Events

Okay, I've been reading about this and that that happened or didn't happen at events this past year. One big thing people have been saying is "Why didn't you tell the authorities?" or "Why didn't you tell someone?".

I was at Spring Wars and 'Geddon this year. At both events, I knew no more than 4 people, I had no signal on my cell phone, I didn't even know where troll was located at either event.

Here is my question, God forbid something WERE to happen . . . who the hell do you go to? At 'Geddon, I could hardly find my own camp, let alone anyone else's. I could go to troll, but what if there's no one there? What's a newbie to do? (Seriously, if I ever need help, I wanna know where to go!)
