1) I want to know if there are any steady fighters in New York City. I'll be living in the Astoria, Queens, not sure if anyone is near the area. Can someone point me in the right direction?
2) I saw there was a realm close, but their website is down and I couldn't find any contact info for Midthgaard. Does anyone have the realm's contact info, or are they possibly defunct?
3) Has anyone tried to practice in Central Park?

I figured it would be, but didn't know if any brave Bel souls had made it past Ohio yet. Now, I'm not sure if I should start a Bel realm or help out the Dag one. :/

help out the Dag one. since bel events don't care what you call yourselves you'll still be welcome, but fighters might be excluded from closer Dag events if they fight under Bel, it is smarter to just help the Dag realm grow so more people can play both games. sucks, but there it is.

There's a small Dag group on Long Island and some in Albany, maybe, and Buffalo and other places up thataway (i.e., almost Canada). I'm the only Bel fighter I know east of PA and I'm in CT and fight with the Dag group in MA/CT/RI mostly.

Man, it's weird reading the forum again.
My girlfriend and I moved up here in June, and a week or so ago out of nowhere I started thinking of fighting; my curiosity finally caved and I had to look into it.

There's no way that I can regularly attend, or build anything right now, but maybe every once in a while I'll try to show up.

Everything there is still accurate, though I'm rarely in the area anymore. The group there is an amazing group of people and extremely welcoming to us Bel fighters. I definitely recommend taking a stop by one of their practices. They've really started to grow in the past month and they'd be happy for any more fighters.
