Hello,
I have been fighting for about seven years now, but only recently got onto the Belegarth boards. I am currently part of House Dregoth militia. I belong to The Order of the Eternal Flame realm here in Rhinelander. I started off wielding a red (not the best, I know). Over the years I have tried different types of fighting styles, but the one I prefer now is dual kopis swords. Anyway, I just thought I would introduce myself and give a little background. I absolutely love Belegarth. I think it is one of the greatest sports out there. Thank you for reading!

Welcome to Bel, glad you are enjoying yourself. Our boards are much more flame-ish than you'll find on say the Dag boards. Enjoy your stay and the fighting.
Side note: What is a Kopis sword? Did you mean Khopesh? The egyptian style swords. If so I would love to see a pic or two, as I have not seen a Khopesh design that will stand up to much fighting.

A kopis is a Greek curve-bladed sword. They are made by a fighter named Willem. I haven't asked how he makes them, but he has definitely perfected the design. I tried to get the picture to work but couldn't get it to work. If you PM me, maybe I can get it done.

Yes, that is correct. The Belegarth version actually has an angle instead of being curved.
