Should I introduce myself?

Hello!
First of all, sorry for my english, as I'm not a native speaker.
I started fighting... Long ago, and I started training in 1997 or around that =) Since than I trained with different weapons, joined on of the major reenactment club, and even participated in Battle of Nations year ago (and yeh we were victorious! =).

I mostly specialize in long weapons, such as halberd and two-handed sword.
I wandered onto this forum accidentally and it looked interesting to me. Some advices from veterans sound practical, and lots of people looking for advices I can provide =)

since you mentioned you're not a native english speaker, where are you just out of curiosity? If you're in the US we can probably point you to a realm near you if you wanted to fight with one of the groups.
