Just moved here from Romeoville and there aren't any Bel places from what I can find. The wiki site says there's a group called Holmgard around here, but I cant find any info on them. I emailed the group but received no response. I'm missin' Muxlovia already.. :c

Croc is a cool dude and a gritty fighter. He needs other good fighters around him to keep him on his toes and keep the rust off.

If you're having trouble finding a realm in Illinois, Croc, you're not looking. Chicagoland is the Holy Land of Belegarth. You've got more experienced fighters and seasoned realms around you than you can shake a fiberglass-core-foam-covered stick at.

You couldn't be further from the truth, depending on your definition of "Chicagoland" When you're in the immediate suburbs of Chicago and in the city, it's a wasteland. Our one realm is the current bastion of hope for chicago. Shalin had a realm in the UIC area, but she's away and had trouble keeping fighters at the practice. (I wasn't helping that issue at the time)

Also, you could prob take the metra to forest glen and I could pick you up.

croc I'm in highland park which is like 2 burbs over from you. Any weekday after 5pm I'm up for sparring, or can work rides with you to muxlovia or other practices assuming your willing to toss in a lil gas money now n then.

Hey Croc,

Good to have company up here in the northern 'burbs. Name is Matthias and I'm out of Lake Bluff. I had tried to start a realm based in Northbrook last year with little success. The guy that founded Holmgard is now fighting in Champaign and going to U of I.

My understanding is that there is a handful of people (myself included) that will be in this area this summer. There was some talk of impromptu practices/sparring and the like...

if you want to set a day to congregate and spar, lemme know and I'll do my damndest to be there with any ruffians I can find.
