Hello, my name is Kevin Martínez, and i'm from México, i just found out about this society and i must say, i'm intrigued.
I did the proper research, read the rules and read all the information the webpage provided me, and i tried to find a realm near here and unfortunately, i did not success.

However, i feel i can start at least a small group to train and fight with, and with some luck, raise a realm, and spread the word around my country.

The point of this topic, is to get your support and advice, what should i do, and also, to learn.

I appreciate the future responses, and i seen the dearest of greetings to all the fellow members of this society.

Welcome to the game.

This thread contains the "realm starter kit". It has alot of the information you'll need to start up a realm.

I'm working right now so I don't have time to type more, but good to hear from you. Some others will be along in a bit to give you a proper welcome and flesh out the advice you'll need

Welcom the the sport man. Better than us giving you advice and telling things that you may already know, what questions do you happen to have? Thats my advice for you is ask what you need to know, when i started a realm i asked alot of questions and brooder helped out alot. Equipment for us was the hardest thing for us to let people practice. It is alot easier though, once you have equipment, to attract people and get them into and then they start making equipment and yeah it just helps alot.

If you need anything though there are alot more knowledgeable than me on the topic so GOOD LUCK and have fun.

It'll be expensive, but one of the most important things to do is travel and visit one of the larger Belegarth events. I'd recommend Chaos Wars in Idaho, Armageddon or Oktoberfest in Illinois, and Beltaine or Equinox in Tennessee. At these events, you'll get some first hand experience with the game, learn from some experienced fighters, and be able to see/touch weapons firsthand.

Where in Mexico? There's a realm across the border in Chula Vista, CA. But that might be difficult to access...

PVC is not the best thing to use as a core, but in your case I would recommend it.

So from this day on, i declare the mexican realm started, hoping to last long and succed.

As the current realm leader, is there something else i need to know or do? do i need to introduce myself to somebody? and what to i need to do to be added to the map?

Congratulations! Well done. What is your realm name? You can add it to the wiki page here:

http://geddon.org/index.php/Category:Realms

just make an account and update to your heart's content. There is info on how to format in the help section I believe.

As far as getting on the map, that might be a question for the web masters. Darian? Any insight?

And while we're at it, we should add the new realm in Britain as well. Belegarth has 4 countries now! woo hoo!

Also, if you guys can make it next January, Battle for the Ring is an awesome event in So Cal and it would be great to have you all there at some point.

Once again, well done.

Further north, you have a group in San Jose (I think), plus there's a Dag group of pretty chill cats in the Bay area.

The group in San Jose is the dag group, there isn't any established realm in SF anymore but there are definitely fighters around there. There is a bele realm in Santa Cruz and one in Santa Rosa so about an hour or two from SF, not sure if you can make it out to them though.

Your closest bet would be Anduril or one of their remote practices.

I'm only an hour and a half north of that, so if I get enough advanced warning I can probably make it down.

I most likely won't be back from Chaos Wars until after the 6th of August. Shoot me a PM when you're in the area and we'll figure something out.

Sure, i'll do that, if i make it before the 6th of August, maybe i can meet someone else if possible? i really want to take this opportunity, either be in Anaheim, L.A or SF, even San Diego if possible.
