In door winter practices get dull. Are there any games you guys like to play? We enjoy Soviets vs. Germans, but that's weird to play with people who haven't done this for a bit, because of the grappling.

Two man teams, one with sword the other with shield. Helps to have them already down the arm they are not using.

Down in Texas we had a scenario called Troll. It can be played as a free for all if you're low on numbers but is a lot more interesting in teams of two.

- Everyone grabs a partner.
- Pile all the realm's weapons and a couple of shields in the center of the field.
- One team of two starts as the trolls (cut throat works).
- Trolls start at the center, get a point of armor all over, and can pick any weapon(s) they choose from the pile.
- All other teams start about 20 feet from the center and are empty handed.
- The goal is to be the last surviving pair.
- Winners become the new trolls for the next round.

Rinse and repeat.
