Hello, I am Gabriel. (field and real name) I recently started Belegarth maybe 6 months ago. Ive been in mideval combat societies for more than 10 years (amt and dag).

Getting to the point, if there are any established realms in middle Tennessee, Cookeville area I would like to contact their representatives, if not I believe our group might be interested in establishing one soon. I would check the map but im using a mobile browser currenly and its not working out so well.

Our group has members active in bel for 10 years or so, and recently went to Beltane. I missed out personally because of lack of group communication and work obligations but I heard even though itwas cold and rainy the event was a blast and the group well recieved. If you saw a group of pirates with blue tabards and a black banner of a skeleton hand holding a bottle, that was us.

I look forward to coming to equinox and fighting with you all.

Welcome to the boards, Gabe.

As far as I know, the only established Belegarth realm in TN is Dur Demarion in Nashville. There were some attempts around Knoxville and down in Chattanooga to start some stuff up, but I haven't heard anything out of that (granted, our realm list isn't always up to date). If you guys find yourselves making your own realm, pop over to Alberta Belegarth's Resource Store, and download Cib's New Realm Starter Kit. It is, by no means, exhaustive, nor the only way of doing things, but it certainly gives you a head start. As well, be sure to lurk around the boards here (the Search feature helps alot), and check out the Geddon. And if you don't find what you're looking for in any of those places, just ask in the appropriate board; there are always people with answers swinging through.

Best of luck,

Thurat

Thanks for the info, Thurat. We have decided as a group on waiting to create a ream until we have a total of at least 10 people go to a major event, and more than that at our weekly practices. We currently have around 12 regular practice fighters but at Beltane we only were able to bring 7. We are close though!

Well, I wish you guys the best of luck. It sounds like you've got a plan, so I'm sure you'll all do just fine. Again, if you guys ever need any help, don't hesitate to post.

Are y'all students at TTU? Might want to use your connections there to get some growth going.

Got a soft spot in my heart for Cookeville, part of my family hails from Overton County, been to Standing Stone many a time out that way.

There are a couple of students in our group, we are seadily growing. A dozen or so regulars make it to the weekly practices. Soon we will be hanging flyers at local game stores where people play rpgs like dnd or warhammer and cardgames. Ive talked with some of the employees and i feel we will grow exponentially after we do that. Also, if any of your groups are looking to expand go to your local game/card shops, often its a gold mine of people who are interested but do not know a local group exists.

If you ever find yourself in the Cookeville area Tor, we would be glad to have you on our field

I was at Beltaine, and fought with the pirates during the bridge battle tournament. Their 'Skittles' was awesome too. Let me know if you still need contact info. I have two very close friends in Dur Demarion. I'll also be coming back out with a friend for Equinox.

Myself and a friend or two will be at EQ representing The Ozarks, fighting with Phoenix and the Thurisaz folks. We also have some special fun in the works for the pirates this year.

Can't wait to get out there!
